@@badkarmabaroo Holyfield was probing with his jab alot. Rewatch that round and you will see that he threw alot of jabs before, then faked that one. Buster was looking for it, then tried to counter the jab with his uppercut but because Holyfield feinted, he remained upright and cross-countered. Buster was losing and was looking for that moment to throw one big bomb to turn it around for him, but instead he got caught hook, line and sinker.

Holyfield is the fuckin' best. My favourite Boxer ever along with George Foreman. It's good to see Boxing & MMA have done him a bit of a service with this ripper vid :) Edit - also, not many people know or remember but he actually hit Bert Cooper so hard that his gloves burst. Round 5, I think it was. And the only other person that hit a guy so hard his gloves burst was undisputed king of hard-hitting; Earnie Shavers.

On one hand Wilder is so much bigger and taller then holyfield,in most case's holyfield versing taller guy's he lost,however you would have to compare Wilder to another hard hitter and that's George Foreman. Holyfield did vs formane but foreman was much older however Foreman still had a strong enough punch to floor Holyfield. Another thing is that I think what allows Wilder to win is the fear he puts into people,Holyfield just wasn't scared of anyone,so Holyfield would be pretty good in that case. Also Holyfield is much quicker then Wilder on defense and offense,Holyfield is also much quicker than Tyson Fury I think. So it depends on what happens the night really,if Holyfield can use his footwork to get in the inside of Wilder then he stands a chance and beat him,however if Wilder manages to keep Holyfield in punching range then Holyfield is a gonner.

That's his rythm... he's always bouncing to throw you off. You think he's just bouncing but actually he's getting closer and closer to you. He told me it's like playing tag.... "how can I get to you using 1 step without getting hit".... so he uses that bounce to get closer and to feint at you to make you reach for a target that isn't necessarily there yet. Very intelligent fighter.

Tyler Keller “he’d have destroyed Holyfield in his prime” actually, Mike was 29 back then and Holyfield was 33. So, Holyfield was actually older and in his late prime while Mike was a little younger and could still fight very well, but Holyfield fought even better. Not a big difference in age so shut up. Early prime and both late prime Holyfield would have destroyed early prime Tyson.
