There is something I really like about Muhammad Ali. He does not hit his opponents when they are falling to the ground. He stops boxing at the first glance he realizes his opponent is falling. Other boxers try to make sure the opponents will not raise to their feet and hit them while they are falling defenseless. He is not only the greatest champion ever, he is also the noblest fighter ever.

he wasn't that forgiving to ernie Terrell because Terrell refused to call him by the name of muhammed ali. Terrell insisted in calling him by his slave name cassius clay. Ali would go on to punish him severly in the ring even refusing to put Terrell out of his misery by knocking him out. if you watch the fight people are pleading with Ali to knock the guy out but he wouldn't punishing Terrell mercilessly and punctuated each punch with the words WHATS MY NAME !!! Many sports writers at the time would go on to say it was the worst display of vindictiveness ever seen in a boxing ring. He also took great pleasure in beating Oscar Bonavena. Bonavena kept calling him a chicken because Ali refused to fight in the viet nam war . if you watch the fight Ali gave Bonavena a terrible beating even refusing to go to neutral corner after bonavena got knocked down so that he could punish him some more.
