@@scray00 No, they've not been gone for ten years. Amy's released a soundtrack album in 2012 called "Aftermath" , then, she released "Dream Too Much " which is an album for children. Later, they dropped some singles that didn't belong to any particular album, just for fun. After this, the band dropped a symphonic album where they remastered some old songs and added some new ones. This one is their fourth studio album, but as it has new and old songs, as the songs were all recorded with symphonic instruments and as the marketing wasn't as hard as with previous albums, it isn't considered that much as an album de facto. When it comes to The Bitter Truth (TBT), it is now what we can call an official album, what fans do consider as their new album, the sucessor for "Evanescence" album. This is due to how the band has projected TBT, the amount of songs, all songs are new... So, this is the long short story of why you can't find a gap of ten years. It's funny how that "The band has releaed a new albu, after ten years of abscene" it's quite a clickbait haha

I am just so emotional right now. Just thinking for how long I have waited for a whole, full pact, heavy, awesome, dark, inspiring album from them. And I am NOT disappointed. I LOVED IT. This is all and everything we fans could have wanted. There seems to be some issue with the mixing and the production but since I am not a musician or a sound engineer it didn't bother me.

This is hands down the best song in the album. I can see the contrast and synergy between the verse and the chorus working very well together, just like a Synthesis song. The verse starts with an immediate catchy tune, poppy and industrial, accompanied by heavy drums, and then the chorus comes and the song shifts to a very beautiful, dramatic and epic melody showcased by her powerhouse vocal. There's also contrasts between heavy instruments and soft, haunting backup vocals... sad, aching melody and hopeful, empowering lyrics. Ahhh, I can almost imagine a Synthesis version of this song in my head right now.

This song represents the emotional scale that we go through. It is a blissful experience and a releasing of all resistance that we have had going on for long when we focus on the things that work for us and know the perfection of life and understand that it is only a habit of negativity that if we stop will make so that the pain goes away forever and the despair is absent. I grew up with Evanescence listening to the songs more than 10k times each most likely, and let me tell you this song is telling you that you are in a place that you wanted into being and have to realize the better place you are in from where you were and the habits of thought created what you wanted and looked at. Regardless of mental denial, love trumps over everything, emotionally. Trauma is just a preception.
