Fun video, but at 14:35, when you say that even Charlie made a video ranting about the difficulty of Roof of Nightmares: that thumbnail is from his video where he played Deep Stone Crypt in 2020, and the video you clipped is from August 2023 when he is says he is disappointed in the state of the game overall (and he does talk about how his team did have such an easy time with RoN that they came back after watching an esports tournament and still beat it). I guess the point is still made, but putting that thumbnail and title that are clearly from before RoN feels a little disingenuous and silly.

RoN was was way too easy, but... the after Elite players complained about the 48hr "day one" for making the contest completion more accessible to non-elite players, when issue was the raid, not the time allowed to complete, it was nice to see them have to be part of the after 24hr club this time around.

BONUS During the final hours of Garden of Salvation contest mode, there were also some server issues causing error codes and this was actually the first time ever (that I remember) when bungie decided to extend the contest window by (I think) 4 hours? 6:06 I feel like this needs a bit more context. Cruz was banned because he opened Destiny while he had a memory editing program running. These kinds of programs allow you to read and write to the RAM of your PC to hack the game in any way you want, so if you open Destiny or any online game with a program like this open they will straight up ban you. Cruz claimed that he wasn’t trying to cheat in Destiny as he was using this program to modify the Total War game he was playing and accidentally had it running when he opened Destiny. If you believe him then it’s a pretty unfortunate situation, but it also makes a lot of sense why he was banned.

Pretty sure King Gothalian had inside info from bungie when his fireteam got world's first on the Taken King raid. He had visited them right before it was released and bungie was under fire for all the mistakes up to that point. I think they made a deal for Goth to finish first. He was at the height of his popularity at the time. Not sure what the reason for bungie to do that would be, but Goth and his team seemed to figure out things faster than what would be considered reasonable. Almost like they were given clues as to what to look for. I have no evidence. It was just a feeling I got whist watching them do it

I'm pretty sure that account recoveries are when you go on someone else's account and, for example, clear a raid for them on their account or go flawless for them in trials. Account sharing itself is not against tos, as long as you just try out weapons or only have one console, that you share with someone, but it is banable if you specifically help someone progress. Especially if you get payed to do so.

It takes an hour to clear a raid once you kwtd. The last week before sunsetting we cleared them all on a Friday night incl. Levi prestige. Started at 7 pm and were done just before midnight. Of speedrunners would have needed maybe an hour and a half, lol.

I feel like RoN would have been harder if the modding system hadn't just been overhauled. Do y'all remember being able to have empowered finish AND other finisher mods like explosive finisher on at the same time? Just finish an enemy, throw grenade, repeat xD. Aside from that, nezarec needed substantially more hp than what he started with. Like, y'know how they silently buffed his hp twice during contest mode? Yeah... he needed to start at that.

No, it was everything. Low hp pool for Nez, bad design of the first encounter and mechanics that were literally the same - save for the Planets. The only thing you had to figure out was the aura (and that didn't take long since you would shoot him anyway as he had the same exposed crits like any other tormentor) and for the planets...they were literally presented to you. The only thing teams had to do was to figure out the dps phase. And now compare that to the vault in LW or Riven legit. It's like a toddler playing with stacking cups and you doing algebra.
