My guess, when the devs said they never knew there would be such a calling for a Venom standalone game, that was the moment any Spiderman 2 DLC plans got scrapped, its about money, a game they can charge almost full price for, or dlc, that maybe gets $20, unless the rumors were right and it was free DLC, that makes a Venom game even more the reason it got scrapped....

Didn't he make a video saying he wouldn't talk about leaks from the hack because it would be wrong to exploit it? But he clearly has seen it, and has been hinting at it from the start. The funny thing is the only references to a venom game is a PowerPoint presentation that looked like a pitch and a roadmap that said venom in 2025, that's it. Now for a game coming out in 2025 why was there literally no footage or playable builds when the same roadmap says Wolverine is 2026 and that has lots of footage? I think all the venom stuff didn't get past the pitch stage and Insomniac is just focusing on Wolverine. Everyone is getting hyped for a game based on a PowerPoint that was never supposed to be seen.

I am actually super beyond hyped right now. Although I don’t think we’re getting anything like a Venom game announcement at all, I can definitely hope for something from Marvel’s Wolverine and the reveal of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (if it really becomes official, that is). I’m pumped. Excitement is dependent on the details of the specs, but generally yes I’m always down for an upgrade hardware. And I am sure to want a PS5 Pro even as a PS5 owner. Thats just the truth as a happy avid consumer.

At this point I'm starting to have my doubts about Spider-Man 2 DLC and it's really sad to me because I'm super hyped about it but Insomniac are waaayyyyy too silent and taking way too long. All they said was that their only focused on Wolverine which is fine but because of the very short we've gotten with Spider-Man 2, I feel like we definitely need dlc. People have beaten the game multiple times and it doesn't take long to beat at all. Skipping side missions, anybody could beat it within at least 2 to 3 days at most. People are eventually (if not by now) get tired of the game and move on to something else and without dlc we'll probably forget about the game in due time. I haven't played the game in months now because I actually got tired of replaying it over and over. Yes, Insomniac gives us updates and new suits here and there which is fine but I feel like we all agree that we really care about getting dlc.
