I also hope they bring several innovative mechanics and many absurd improvements for people to say it's another game because Spider 2 didn't change almost anything in relation to the previous one, it seems like an expansion with small differences, it has its improvements but it wasn't enough and I hope they get rid of Sweet Baby because they ruined the narrative script and the content in general.

Most definitely should have a longer story! Especially if they may not even do dlc Since 2 isn’t getting anything. It killed me how the internet would try to gaslight people who thought it was short. Like we don’t know what a long game feels like. I felt it was short, (not saying short was bad I want more, that’s why everyone losing cells over dlc 😂😩) beat it and platinumed it within the week.

If Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 is in early production, Sony needs to chill out and let them take their time. Rushing a sequel just to meet some arbitrary deadline risks compromising the legacy Insomniac has built with the first two games. The magic of their Spider-Man series comes from its storytelling, character development, and polished gameplay. Forcing a rushed timeline could mean losing the emotional depth and groundbreaking mechanics fans have come to expect. Let them craft a masterpiece we’d rather wait a few extra years for greatness than settle for mediocrity. Quality over speed, always.

I thought Spider-Man 2 was great, but due to Sony rushing them, I feel like the game barely reached the levels of the first game, as the game had lower lows, but also much higher highs. I hope Spider-Man 3 can surpass the others.

Think the version from the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. If they stick with this direction I could see him doubling down on the g serum to turn into the hulked out goblin from the Ultimate Comics as his true final form.

I can't remember the fine details or sources but iirc, Miles' entire game or most of it was gonna be the final DLC for Spider-Man 1, and perhaps some parts of it would be in Spider-Man 2, and I wouldn't be surprised if Sony had a hand in the decision to make it a standalone spin-off game

Miles Morales makes sense because you see him get bit by the spider towards the end of Spider-Man PS4. Venom literally died, so there's nothing to continue in a spinoff. That just confuses me. If we saw a piece of the Symbiote still there then I would understand.

Venom in Spider-Man 2 didn’t act like Venom, and he didn’t have Venoms motivations. He looked like Venom, but besides that he’s an entirely different character, and not in a good way.

The game-play was amazing, the combat, the swinging, the flying around etc. I hope that the third installment is better in all aspects compared to the second game.

Throughout my very first time playing Spider-Man two, I was so worried about Otto. Kraven killed the rest of his team, so I was afraid we would find out he also killed Otto. I was so happy to see that credit scene for the first time! I'm blind and when it first came out it did not have audio description. I didn't realize it was Otto when he spoke... I knew when his theme played right before he spoke and screamed like a crazy person! Of course I fully respect the voice actors for going on strike because people want to use AI in video games, but it does worry me that it will be delayed. Even if it is delayed, the well-being of the voice actors and everyone involved comes first and we'll still get it one way or another! I am super excited for Spider-Man three because my two favorite villains green goblin and doc Ock are going to be in it, and I'm excited for possibly carnage in the chameleon as well! I am very scared that Peter is going to die. I could barely handle it when he pretty much died in Spider-Man too before he got the Symbiote, and even that was done so well!

I hope Sony doesn't rush Insomniac. If the Insomniac B-team can fill the gap between 2 and 3 with shorter games like a Venom game, Miles Morales 2, Wolverine or Silk game, I'm fine with waiting a while for the third game. Marvel's Spider-Man 3 should be much longer. It should be fuller, and improve upon and alter old mechanics to create a truly memorable game. I loved Spider-Man 2, but especially in the latter half of the game, you could see how much Insomniac were rushed to complete the game. Less side content, a condensed story, a very rushed Venom... Sony better let them take their time.

It's never too early to be excited about an upcoming game in a series we love! Yes Wolverine is coming, but there's nothing wrong with being hyped for it even if it's years down the line! I was ready for it after I finished Spider-Man two the first time!

I can live without a DLC tbh but what really annoys me is that PlayStation players have had no update to where you can select the thunderstorm time of day option or customise what your surge suit is and that it changes in the cutscene in new game plus… But PC players will probably be able to easily mod this stuff into the game no problem where as PlayStation players won’t have the option to do this, even though it’s meant to be a PlayStation exclusive PlayStation players are worse off🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️just doesn’t sit right with me and it bugs me a lot
