@@frankszantoyes, I agreed with you that the NT is about Jesus because it is a biography. Therefore, it is NOT the Injeel given to Jesus as mentioned in the Quran. The Quran on the other hand is not about Muhammad (pbuh) or a biography of Muhammad (pbuh). It is a revelation from God just like the Injeel. If you want to read about Muhammad (pbuh) or his saying, you read the Seerah or the Hadith.

@@denoiz The gospels present Jesus' teachings in a context. Jesus spoke as he travelled to various places. You can ask the question "When did Jesus say xxxx, and to whom did he say it?" The Old Testament is similar. Exodus is not presented as a bunch of ideas in a textbook, but what Moses said and did is given in a historical context. The Quran tells many stories from the Old Testament, especially about Moses. You can find the Moses story in seven Surahs (7,10,20,26,27,28 and 40). While these retellings are less chronological than Exodus they mostly agree with it. So the Quran is not so different to the Bible in that respect. When it comes to Jesus, the Quran has very little about him. There is more about his birth than his adult life. The scene in Surah 5:109-118 is not presented in a historical context. You can't ask when or where it happened. And there is nothing about Jesus receiving the Injeel from God. And when it comes to Muhammad, there is very little about him. He is hardly mentioned by name, although there are frequent references to a nameless prophet. There are many verses saying that people did not believe him, or mocked him. And while there is nothing about him receiving the message from Gabriel in a cave, there a details of his marriage with Zaynab in Surah 33. So it is wrong to say the Quran is not biographical.

It means to draw back a curtain - even the English word has this re-veal, or draw back the veil. What I never got to ask was, when did Jesus receive this revelation? Because the thing is, He is the Word of God, and everything He said is revelation. He did not need to receive it. Secondly, Zeeshan tried to tell me that in Matthew Jesus does not talk about himself. But this is just not true. I gave the example of Matt 16: 21 as an example. He also claimed that Jesus refused to do miracles for unbelievers in Matthew, but freely did miracles in John. It is correct that when the pharisees asked for a sign from heaven he refused (e.g Matthew 16:4). The gospel of John is structured around 7 miracles, i.e fewer are reported, and they involve specific people, and are aimed at believers. Prominent Islamic scholar Syed Abul A'la Maududi explains Surah 38:21-26 as follows: *The actual event as one clearly understands from the aforesaid statement of the Quran was:* *The Prophet David (peace be upon him) had only expressed this desire before Uriah (or whatever be the name of the man) that he should divorce his wife; as this desire had been expressed not by a common man but by an illustrious king and a great Prophet before a member of the public, the man was finding himself constrained to yield to it even in the absence of any compulsion. On this occasion, before the man could act as the Prophet David had desired, two righteous men of the nation suddenly made their appearance before David and presented before him this matter in the form of an imaginary case. At first, the Prophet David thought it was a real case, and so gave his decision after hearing it. But as soon as he uttered the words of the decision, his conscience gave the warning that the parable precisely applied to the case between him and the person, and that the act which he was describing as an injustice had issued forth from his own person. As soon as he realized this, he fell down prostrate, repented and reversed his decision.* *The question, as to how this event took the ugly shape as related in the Bible, also becomes obvious after a little consideration. It appears that the Prophet David (peace be upon him) had come to know of the unique qualities of the woman through some means and had started thinking that she should be the queen of the country instead of being the wife of an ordinary officer. Overwhelmed by the thought he expressed the desire before her husband that he should divorce her. He did not see any harm in it because it was not looked upon as anything improper among the Israelites. It was an ordinary thing among them that if a person happened to like the wife of another, he would freely request him to give her up for him. Nobody minded such a request, and often it so happened that friends would divorce their wives for each other’s sake of their own accord, so that the other may marry her. However, when the Prophet David (peace be upon him) expressed this desire, he did not realize that the expression of such a desire could be without compulsion and coercion when expressed by a common man, but it could never be so when expressed by a king. When his attention was drawn to this aspect of the matter through a parable, he gave up his desire immediately, and the thing was forgotten. But afterwards when, without any desire or planning on his part, the woman's husband fell martyr on the battlefield, and he married her, the evil genius of the Jews started concocting stories and this mischievous mentality became even more acute after a section of the Israelites turned hostile to the Prophet Solomon. Under these motives the story was invented that the Prophet David (peace be upon him), God forbid, had seen Uriah’s wife washing herself from the roof of his palace. He had her called to his house and committed adultery with her and she had conceived. Then he had sent Uriah on the battle-front to fight the children of Ammon, and had commanded Joab, the army commander, to appoint him in the forefront of the battle where he should be killed. And when he was killed, he married his widow, and from the same woman the Prophet Solomon (peace be upon him) was born. The wicked people described all these false accusations in their Holy Book, so that they should go on reading it generation after generation and slandering the two most illustrious men of their community, who were their greatest benefactors after the Prophet Moses (peace be upon him).*

Firstly, I suspect you just copied and pasted this from some source. Secondly, I am surprised that you admit the story told by two men is an allegory - there is no indication of this in the Quran. Thirdly - where does all this information come from? It is neither in the Quran nor the Bible. It is pure speculation. Lastly, God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). The idea that a man can ask for another man's wife is abhorrent to Him. And Jesus preached against divorce (Matt 19). It is one of the man areas where the Quran rejects God's commands. The Bible tells us what happened. The Quran contains a corrupted version of the story.

@@frankszanto If you had paid attention you would have known that I did said that I have copied this from a source i.e Syed Abul Al'a Maududi in his Tafsir Tafheem ul Qur'an. Which specific information are you talking about? In the Qur'anic version of the story, David did not commit adultery but only expressed his desire to marry her. Yes you are correct. God does hate divorce. Even Islam teaches that: *It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that: the Messenger of Allah said: "The most hated of permissible things to Allah is divorce." [Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith **#2018**]* *Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported: Woman has been created from a rib and will in no way be straightened for you; so if you wish to benefit by her, benefit by her while crookedness remains in her. And if you attempt to straighten her, you will break her, and breaking her is divorcing her. [Sahih Muslim 1467 b]* Yet it's not forbidden in the Law: *If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house, [Deuteronomy 24:1]* So I don't know what you are talking about when you say that the Qur'an rejects God's commands. Ironically, it is the Bible which rejects God's commands for according to the Law David should have been stoned to death for adultery yet he was spared and instead his innocent newborn child was struck with fatal illness which claimed his life and his wives were made to sleep with other men. You say it is abhorrent to God that a man would take another man's wife yet in the Bible this is exactly what David did and God Himself gives David's wives to other men. If I do not believe that the Bible is corrupt then I have to believe that God and His prophets were corrupt! Even Jesus said that you would recognize false prophets by their fruits for a good tree cannot bear bad fruit. How can the fruits of David be murder and adultery?

Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” 7 “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?” 8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.” In addition, the 10th commandment says (Exodus 20: 17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” Whichever way you look at it, what David did was wrong. And God was displeased, and withdrew His blessing. The Bible just tells the truth of what happened. Tbh as a muslim i love the amazing work this brother does but he is not perfect and im for sure way worse but i must admit i couldn’t find a source where the definition of Evangelion was revelation, but rather Good News. Because as muslims we must be about honesty and about truth and correct each-other when we fall or falter, that being said if there is a source that states other id be open to checking it out, plz link it. Now ofc frank was just makin things up off the fly with assumptions when he states that the Quran is written by prophet Mohammed (pbuh) and hear-say which is why it contradicts it. No our claim is it corrects it. Also before taking the bible as a valid source especially before titling it God’s word lets first go over the multitude of contradiction both numeric and situational.

Thank you for speaking for our Saviour; the fruits of the Spirit were evident in your kindness and patience. Euangelion is original Greek for Good News and refers to salvation and liberation from sin and estrangement from God. We are freed by faith in the power of Jesus Christ's precious loving sacrifice. The Trinity in the bible is inherent in so many places. The resurrection of Jesus Christ being the most beautiful. Raised by God the Father in Acts 10 40. Raised by the power of Jesus Christ Himself in John 17-18. and by the Holy Spirit in 1 Peter 3 18 and Romans 8 11. Nothing beats reading God's Word thoroughly with a sincere heart, and making the connections. 🙏

Show me a proof of trinity from the bible then
@MeekEarth700Ай бұрын
@zoro_the_navigator8822 All three persons of the Trinity resurrected Jesus Christ. The Father in Acts 10 40. By Jesus Christ's own power in John 10 27-18 and The Holy Spirit in 1 Peter 3 18 and Romans 8 11. They were especially seen together during Creation in Genesis 1; note the Holy Spirit moving over the waters, the use of the plural Elohim for God and the 'us' and the 'our' whilst creating Man and Woman in their image. Another time is at Jesus' baptism, where God's voice is speaking and the Holy Spirit is in the form of a dove. They are findable if you are sincere. 🙏

It is becoming apparent that Mecca never existed at the time Mohammad was supposed to, other than as a dry desert. Look for the highly researched historical work of Doctor Jay Smith.

So did the Prophet lived in a barren desert with no towns or cities? If so then did the Kaaba not exist at the time ?

I am very disappointed in Zeeshan that he would use a click bait title like this. It reinforces my view that Muslims have no conscience at all about lying. My faith was not shaken, and I pointed out numerous errors in what Zeeshan said. Like so many Muslim apologists, his technique is to try to keep the on the back foot defending the Bible. The Bible as we have it is not perfect, but it is to the Quran as a mountain to a pimple. The Quran is a very poor attempt to copy the Bible, containing numerous errors and ridiculous stories. When I talk to Muslims like Zeeshan, they always want to debate the Bible, and not the Quran because it is such an embarrassment. I thought you were sincere Zeeshan, but it appears you are just a trickster, hiding what you know is falsehood.

all of your points were double standards. To the point it was ridiculous tbh. We have more information about the historicity of Quran than we have for anything in the Bible.
@frankszantoАй бұрын
@@ottovon5182 A typical Muslim response - an arrogant claim with no evidence. Show me one case where I had double standards. It is the Muslims who have double standards. You have zero evidence for the historicity of the Quran. By about 666 AD the Arabs had conquered an empire stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to Afghanistan, and no one had heard of the Quran. The fake story about Muhammad receiving a revelation in a cave is not in the Quran. In fact the so-called Meccan surahs do not mention Muhammad or Mecca. Instead, they contain many stories copied (and corrupted) from the Bible. We know that the Apostle Paul died around 64 AD. That means all his letters were written before that. And that means Acts was also written earlier, and hence also the Gospel of Luke - which was written after Matthew and Mark. But Muslims, being the enemies of God, want to cast doubt on His word.
