What you want is to change truth! 😔 The Truth, who is Jesus, will never change, He is God not a god that you can change into your own image! It is He who changes your heart to want what is Truth that is really real! 🤨 You really don't want God! 😔

@The bible approves Abortion First no one can be a christian without Christ, who never changes! It is Jesus Christ who saves! 🙏🏻✝️🙌🏻 For those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their minds set on the things of the Spirit. Now the mindset of the flesh is death, but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace. The mindset of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit to God’s law. Indeed, it is unable to do so. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him. Now if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then he who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through his Spirit who lives in you. Romans 8:5-11 "There is a way that seems right unto a man, but that way only leads to death!" There is only one way to God! Jesus said, "I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life, and there is no other way to The Father, but by me." You have said being with the same gender as married is not a sin, but Jesus made it obvious! “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that he who created them in the beginning made them male and female, and he also said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? Matthew 19:4-5 Notice He never said anything about male and male nor female and female marriage!🙁 It is Jesus, who is God, that made them both male and female!☺️ You don't know scripture or rather you refuse to know as Romans chapter one states it best because you want things to be your way so you suppress the Truth in unrighteousness because you want what is sinful!😞 For God’s wrath is revealed from heaven against all godlessness and unrighteousness of people who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth, since what can be known about God is evident among them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, that is, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what he has made. As a result, people are without excuse. For though they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became worthless, and their senseless hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools Romans 1:18-22 There's no such thing as progressive christian as there's no such thing as social justice! There is only what is just and true! Satan wanted what man now call social justice because he wanted to be as God and be worshipped. 😔 Like him you are not satisfied with what God has done for you! Like him you want to have it your way! He wanted to have God's glory! Glory belongs to God alone!!!✝️🙏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Jesus in the garden prayed, tho He didn't want to die, He still said, "Not my Will, but your Will be done." 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻

For those of you struggling with homosexuality or struggling to understand it as sin, I would highly recommend reading Jackie Hill Perry’s book, “Gay Girl, Good God.” She is same sex attracted, but God took her out of her life of sin (beyond homosexuality- because just being straight doesn’t save anyone) and changed her into a devoted follower. It’s a beautiful story and she’s a very skilled writer.

Hey!!!!!! Thanks for this video Rick. As you know this subject is very close to my heart. As a mother of a 19 year old Lesbian daughter who has chosen to move to a different state to be with her " nongender" girlfriend, and I have a transgerder gay sister that is married to her girlfriend and has children, that I love all these people with all that is within me, and will do just about anything for all of them. But, they are all living in sin, and when they ask me, I cannot lie about that. So many people tell me if I love them I would just accept my daughters girlfriend back into my house , and I could accept that my sister is really my brother. The thing is yes, I accept they are gay and do not love them ir their kids any less than I would other wise. I accept they have a right to be what they want. I do not accept God made any of them that way, I do not go for the nurture vs nature either. My sister and I were born to same parents and both went through hell at home, but we went through hell together, yet completely different. I accept them in my life and am not ashamed who they are. But, I also accept that even though they say they love God, that they are choosing sin over God...and that's a sin. I know God loves them the same as he loves me or you, but also for the people that tell me to just love them and accept that Jesus accepts them into heaven the way they are without repentance, I'm sorry I can't do that. I can't love them to hell while letting them think they are saved. Love is protecting others from harm and love is honesty....and because I love them, their gay friends, and all of you. I have to say in the Bible it says that being Homosexual is a sin , the wages of sin ( unrepented sin, and to repent if sin means to turn from it and turn to Jesus) is death. So, I know people may see this post as a hate message, it's 100 percent not, but because I and Jesus loves you, I am telling you living this life is a sin that can separate you from God's presence forever. I'm sorry , but that is the truth. God be with you all.

I submit, humbly, that we should not be calling them "Christians" in the same way that we do not call Mormons Christians. Only Mormons call themselves Christians. Back in 1992 and over the course of the next several years, there was much debate in oregon to legalize homosexual "marriage." Sadly, what I heard from the local churches was appalling. Their argument was that we should let these people have civil unions but not marriage because we needed to preserve the meaning of marriage. I was shocked. And these weren't just the liberal denominations saying this. I went to my pastor and asked him why he didn't have a problem with two men living together in rebellion against God, or -- worse yet -- two men in a civil union getting all the rights and benefits of marriage to boot. The standard answer was that we had to worry about the definition of marriage and deal with homosexuality at a later date. My response was just the opposite. Deal with homosexuality through the Gospel and don't vote for civil unions.
@sidwhiting6653 жыл бұрын
The church unfortunately all but gave up on the sanctity of marriage starting in the 60s and 70s when we turned a blind eye to people living together, divorcing & and remarrying for fear of "driving people away." We gave up HUGE swathes of moral high ground at that point. . Fighting to get it back is going to be difficult, because we are still afraid of driving people away who aren't interested in following Christ's teaching on marriage in the first place. Think about it: how many couples in your church are living together, how many unmarried folks are sleeping around before marriage (fornicating), and how many are on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th + marriage with ex-spouses who are still living and with whom they could reconcile if not for the hardness of their hearts? As former senior pastor in my church said he commonly sees over 60% of "Christian" couples living together before marrying. We tolerate all those things....is it any wonder when struggle with one more group that is not following God's commands for our sexual behaviors? . I'm not saying any of those behaviors are right: it's not. It's all sin. But so long as we tolerate other sexual sins for the sake of not offending people, we will never restore the image of marriage that God gives to us as the ideal to always strive towards.

I totally agree. We are all made in the image of God but our self will can drive us into disobedience. This disobedience, if continued, gets worse and subverts the pattern of God’s intended fruitful and meaningful purpose for our lives. It’s nots Gods fault when we sin, it’s ours. Sin is never agreeable to God. That’s why he sent Jesus to take away our sins, knowing that we could and never would be able to become righteous before him. Only thrusting in Christ’s finish work on the cross and his resurrection from the dead, satisfied God the Father. To ask God to bless disobedience is blasphemy. Ignorance demands is but they are really asking Satan to bless it, the other god. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, can not bless sin. It is a damned relationship seeking blessing for lusting after the same gender. Due to this Sodom and Gomorrah’s sodomy, God destroyed them in judgement. Will he not do less to us? Sin reaps a harvest of destruction from a all Holy and Righteous God. The person who marries lesbians are really doing this in the name of Satan. The Father of lies. It’s still blasphemy; An illusion of holy when it really isn’t. A god created to fit our lusts and desires; our disobedience. John MacArthur would call them God haters. But then, that’s John MacArthur. They can not inherit the kingdom of God. That’s the results of their willful decision.

It baffles me when people try to use scripture to justify gay marriage. In some ways, the Bible is clearer on that issue than it is on the Trinity. In fact, you could probably make a stronger case for polygamy than you could for gay marriage. I don’t believe in polygamy, of course, but polygamy was practiced in the Old Testament. There are no examples, however, of men marrying men.

This reminds me of Jesus and the rich young ruler when he told him to sell everything and give it to the poor. "When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was very wealthy." This seems to be a parallel to LGBTQ suicidal ideation in response to Biblical teaching. It's not Jesus' fault they are sad. He loves them and wants redemption and freedom. It's like someone trapped in an addiction that they can't or won't find a way a way out of when the solution is already there.

IMO, I think it boils down whether or not you believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God. Most progressives believe there are errors and contradictions in Scripture and therefore pick and choose what to take from it. That should be the very first thing discussed in these "debates". Again, IMO, if one side believes in the inerrancy of Scripture and the other side does not, there really is nothing to debate...one side has a benchmark of truth and standards, the other side has relativism and human feelings.

Hello friend (I’ve just realised I don’t know your name!). This is the first time I've stated this publicly, but it's a view I've actually held since I was a suspicious early teenager, in the early '70s, when the word "gay" in its current sense first took hold. I've always watched the way words progress through the language. I remember when the coinage first began to be promulgated, and I could immediately see why. If you read any literature before about 1971, you'll find the meaning of the word confined to its long-used sense. It was rarely, if ever, applied to any description of one's sexuality (sexual preference). Since its hijacking, it’s been impossible to use the word in any other sense without having to at least clarify. It's time Christians actually debated the application of the word itself, instead of using it unthinkingly, and therefore buying into it. I'm noticing that even Christian preachers scripturally opposed to homosexuality inadvertently normalise the use of "gay" by treating it as synonymous with homosexuality. Consider the statement, “I’m not a hater of gay people”. To make this statement is to say more than one might mean to say. Apart from inaccurately expressing a truth about Christians (they don’t hate the person, only the sin) they are also unconsciously making a concession to an embedded command that we see homosexuality a certain way; that we de-couple the “state of being” from the act; that we discount any idea that choice is a factor - even though we apply the notion of volition to any other sin. It makes debate much trickier than it ought to be. The church should not be contributing to this situation. The word “gay” was invented for a reason. Before its use spread to the general population, "homosexual" was the term in popular use, obviously. The homosexual movement, as did other loud interest groups, had some ingenious PR working for them. They achieved two things very quickly: they developed "weapon words" to shame opponents and make them fear expressing opposition ("homophobic" was just one result), and they found a little word to describe themselves which was, in fact, a complete redefinition of who and what they were. The term "gay" enabled them to detach sexual preference from their self-description. Once that was achieved, it was easy for the word to snowball semantically. To be "gay" now means something other than to have a sexual inclination; it now describes a state of being. It has allowed homosexuals to place this state of being on a par with one's race, gender or nationality (see Martina Navratilova’s description of those who opposed same-sex marriage as “racist”. Once it would have been considered a ridiculous equivalence). “Gay” in this sense has probably usurped the original word as a lexical entry, but it wasn’t a matter of natural semantic development. Interest groups these days are pretty savvy to the trick of kidnapping words and meanings. The implications of this coinage are huge. It created an entirely new ground for debate, and we keep meeting them on this playing-field. Even Christians have been cowed into drawing the line at questioning this very self-description, imposed and insisted upon by the homosexual sector of society (calling it a “community” is another feat of linguistic legerdemain, and we have fallen for that one as well). Those who advocate for the homosexual movement have been enabled, thanks to this coinage, to speak of being “born gay” (because, let’s face it, you can’t say someone is born with a sexual preference); to search for a “gay gene” in order to reinforce the notion that homosexuality is inherent; to create their own victimology (it’s more emotive to say you are picked on for what you ARE [gay] rather than what you do [prefer to have sexual relations with people of the same sex]); to march alongside black people or people with disabilities as an oppressed minority; to speak further myths into existence, like, say, a “gay holocaust”; to extend the usage to others by employing sly “gay” words like "bromance" (others are "man hug" and "man crush") that (homo)sexualise even friendship; to create gay “heroes”, gay “icons”, gay literature - it goes on. The development of this little word is testimony to the human ability to conjure concepts out of nothing and then reify them by speaking of them endlessly until they become real - in the sense that they affect behaviour and impact society. One symptom of the evil chaos that besets the world is that epistemological problems abound, and are proliferating exponentially. This begins with language - just look at the staggeringly extensive lexicon the Covid event has introduced with a mere year of its existence. Truth becomes the casualty. Christians need to be a little more thoughtful and discerning and question existing narratives, no matter how entrenched they now are in “normality”. If they don’t, they inadvertently play a part in furthering these agendas, and make it more difficult for fellow Believers to combat them.

Yes, we should all realise just how powerful and coercive words can be. Next time you are in a group setting (...much less in the presence of a "Gay" person) and the conversation is befitting, see how easy is for you to refer to "Gay" people as homosexual : 0

@@kangarootha You're right mate. I've tried it myself, and it's considered by them to be disrespectful and a denial of what they "actually" are. They see it as "dehumanising". In other words, the coinage of this word and its constant repetition and application to all things homosexual have absolutely done the job they were intended to do. They continue to do that job as long as Christians pay homage to a concept that was conjured out of nothing, by constantly using the word. And make no mistake, Christians are worried about being considered disrespectful if they fail to use the word "gay", even if they are preaching Biblically on the topic. Remember, too, that it is an aim of organised homosexuality to have even Christians worship at their altar every chance they get, whether it's using the "correct" terminology in our everyday language, imposing their worldviews via awards nights, concerts or sporting spectacles popping with imagery, icons, incantations and faux-worship, or whether they just have a weekend of football (in Australia) that they call the "gay round", just to ensure that any sport-loving citizen will go along to a stadium with 60,000 others and demonstrate their support for the "cause". I note that Voddie Baucham simply doesn't use the word in his sermons on the subject, So there's one prominent Christian who seems to be onto it.

Alan, I watched the video you recommended and I also watched some of Split Church's other videos. They all seemed pretty informative until I got to their video of Tongues vs Gibberish. Will was drinking a beer while reading the Scripture and breaking down the message. I found this inappropriate. I let them know that I could not follow them any longer and gave them the reason. I felt it was very disrespectful to drink alcohol while discussing Scripture. I am a recovering alcoholic and have been for a long time and I would never even think of doing something like this. It's like getting high on KZbin and saying your a minister (which Will said he was) then proceeding to expound on Scripture. That is not treating the Scripture with the reverence it deserves. Am I wrong? Please help.

I agree 100% although I do have a question.. Me and my wife have 2 kids. We've been together for eight years. We have never went through the legal documents of marriage but we consider ourselves husband and wife even though we legally have different last names. I've always understood the Bible as when the two become One flesh that is your wife. I've always thought it was weird going to a priest or even someone who doesn't believe in God that has their marriage license and all you need to do is pay $100 and sign on the dotted line and you are legally married.. doesn't the Bible say marriage is between man woman and God? Why do we need a priest or someone to go before God when we can do that ourselves? I just think it's weird. I consider my wife my wife and a part of me because we are one.

Honest question, Alan... You said, “God doesn’t make anyone gay anymore than He makes someone into a fornicator or an adulterer”... Since God is sovereign, doesn’t that mean He predetermined homosexuality and fornication to exist in the hearts of some people? Then, doesn’t that technically mean that He “made” them that way because He predetermined it? Thanks.
