YES! Love the sound of a radial, but yet Nothing has the sound of a Rolls V12 cursing at altitude, never mind when the throttle gets pushed forward on the deck! I was around early enough that WWII planes still flew semi regularly!

GOOD JOB! A work of Engine Ering Art that Works! I think the park bench was in the LA area? I felt familiar? Love to see your work! As a child in the Early 70's A friends Dad built a smaller version for a bi plane, and another Family friend who was also a real pilot built four 4 in a remote controlled B17 that Just Fit canted sideways in his two car garage! at age 10 I WAS IMPRESSED! all from scratch.

Beautiful engine, beautiful workmanship, beautiful music, ....but heck, ....I would never rely on cheapo 'G' clamps to hold the engine down, ...I have had similar clamps let go on me several times in the past. ...but thanks for sharing a great video just the same...!

You must start with single cylinder engine, learn the basics of thermodynamics on combustion engines through trial and error and move on from there.

Oil is stored in the camplate department. Then i send 5ml per hour to the big end bearing through the crankshaft using the gears of the cam reduction.

@@jimandskittum early Buick V8’s we’re called “nail valve” engines for their small diameter valves compared to the other competing ( Ford, Chevy, etc.) V8 ‘s but they made equal or more power and were lighter than their competitors. Unfortunately Buick was not supported by the hot rod industry and the nail valve faded into obscurity as many other “ weird” engines such as the Saab 2 stroke.
