I’m 73. I never paid much attention to ballet. But you have opened me to a whole New World. Your photographs are stunning. And I have never seen such athleticism and dedication as I have in those beautiful dancers. I would love to meet them all and you someday. The amount of talent in these classes astound me. The boys- especially the first guy, (Chase?)are seriously flying and "Defying Gravity," if you will 😉 Soaring through the air, with both the amount of height and distance covered! I remember the bit when Slawomir was throwing the bills all over Melanie. She is the Queen of turns. And Princess Tessa, now that Amber has disappeared to Boston? There are the single spontaneous poses, that you manage to capture with Amber in London. You guys are all freakin AWESOME! 😊😘👏👏👏👍

How long did it take Melanie to perform the $ to pointe shoes conversion?

It's about 10 pair. Pointe shoes are generally over $100 now, but if you buy multiple pairs per order, as anyone dancing this many hours would, you can often get a discount that would come out around $100 each. How long each pair lasts varies based on the dancer, what she is focused on in class and rehearsals at the time, her foot type, how careful they are to rotate their shoes to let them dry out fully between uses.
