nice video. Looked like the make up water has poor volume. I don't work on the big stuff but, have come across several gate valves that were partially clogged or were broke and hanging up with deposits. However I enjoy all your videos.
@EminHVAC9 жыл бұрын
Thanks man, the make up is poor, there's no water pressure coming up to the tower. They never installed a proper water feed. We gave them a drawing of what needs to be done, However No Action. Thanks for watching

Great viedo emin. Im glad u pointed that out about greasing the bearings to much i always stop when i see grease coming out. What is the effects of to much grease?
@EminHVAC9 жыл бұрын
this is the best explanation for over greasing, this is from an article on line. Over ergreasing can lead to high operating temperatures, collapsed seals and in the case of greased electric motors, energy loss and failures. overgreasing) in a bearing cavity will cause the rotating bearing elements to begin churning the grease, pushing it out of the way, resulting in energy loss and rising temperatures. This leads to rapid oxidation Seal damage is another negative side effect of overgreasing. Grease guns can produce up to 15,000 psi, and when you overgrease a bearing housing, the lip seals can rupture, allowing contaminants such as water and dirt to gain access into the bearing housing. Picture yourself running in water, the more water the more difficult to run. The same also goes for bearings. I grease once or twice a year, 2 pumps max. thanks for watching bud.

Yeah. they like to take away my good helpers and stick me with the ones that like to watch me work. I got the rags from a bearing and motor store, it comes in a box full of them for $8. I believe United also has them.

The worst part of the job is waiting on approval from the property manager or board.

Yeah you know how it is, I've made repairs without approvals and it passed my boss off, lol
