EVC Throttle controller Install + REVIEW - N70 Hilux // OutbackTrekking

hey mate, a stupid question, i'm trying to install it and cant get the factory plug off, where exactly is the clip that you have to press first to unplug it, i can't find it anywhere, am i missing something obvious?

Cheers for the install vid, nice and easy! Just installed mine and took it for a spin and the difference is huge. Mines been driving like a tractor since I bought it and now it actually puts a smile on my face. I've kept it in AC (Auto Control) for the drive home but will definitely fiddle around with settings tomorrow. What settings do you keep yours on?

Thanks mate! I normally keep it on AC for driving around town, E1 for long highway driving, U5 for muddy/boggy terrain and E5 for really technical terrain such as steep sketchy angles on the side of hills

Hi, George Leov I like your videos a lot and I am a subscriber because it helps me and others, if you don't mind can you give feedback or review throttle controllers like 9-drive, iDrive, and other throttle response controllers. Regarding safety issues, My question is what if the throttle controller's device suddenly fails? or the little wire cut? Do we still have the control of gas pedal? or it will be back to normal mode? Mate is there something to squeeze to get the initial plug off the accelerator? I can't get past step 1... 😂😭

Make sure there isn't any dirt and crap stuck in the plug making it hard to press the clip in. Tips: Try pressing it on all the way and then press in the clip Use compressed air to clean the plug so no dirt is stuck in it keeping it shut. If in doubt use some small needle nose pliers. Good luck 👍

None at all. Either it's not plugged in or it's faulty. I recommend unplugging it and plugging it back in
