Though I know little of Welsh, I find it to be an enchanting language, made more so by such a beautiful song, love it.

My biggest regret in life is not being able to speak Welsh. I live 6 miles from Chester, literally on the border, but I'm 100% Welsh! It's a shame people near me can't speak their native language.

For a long time I've suspected I have Welsh ancestry. To my suprise yesterday I was looking at my grandmother's family history and not only found she had a Welsh ancestor but her ancestor was a Welsh king named Rhiwallon who ruled over Powys Wales. Never heard of this king before. She passed away 3 years ago never knowing she was descended from Welsh royalty. It hit me to think my grandmother is now in God's kingdom. A Welsh princess. God rest her soul.

The men of my kind were the very first line of defense surrounding the Kingdom of Wales thousand's, upon thousands of year's ago. The name's they were given were watchman of the wood's, and knight. I'm certain some of the princesses of Wales, or their royal cousin's were very brave sheild stresses, and wanted the knight who was at peace, and complete, being the point of the sword for the entire kingdom, and surviving. I'm sure it makes you feel good to know that you are royalty. I can only guess that I too have royal blood, but when we feel something we feel it. We know, and then we eventually find out what we had felt all along.. So I tip my cap to you your highness, thanks for sharing your story

It's quite manly, depending on your view. Also, it's a romantic song of sorts, if I understood the translation correctly.
