ECM is underapreciated especially in small gang, since if you use it on an unbonused ship you can use it to force the dps to focus on a particular ship type. In addition even an unbonused amarr jammer is extremely effective against disrupting triglavian ships that will need to spool up again.

When you activate the wobble you apply a debuff 2 after seconds on everything in its radius. It doesn't persist in the area, just gets applied to the ships. As you mentioned, have never used it apart from the AT, though.

Burst jammer is also real good on a command destroyer to turn of locks while younspool the boosh .

the hic bubbles are better due to double bubbling and also they can have scripts so you can tackle in hi sec and still have open mid slots

Isent there a Gallente frigate ship that is notoriouse for there Dampening Ewar capabilitys? I could be wrong but i think its called the Mauler or something simular and the absurd bonuses it gets to sensor dampening strengh and range is so frustrating that if pvp players se 1 they wont even try to kill it.

You're thinking of the malus. The Keres is the t2 version of it, which he mentioned in the video.

Usually I really like your content, but in this time I feel some disturbance in the force. You are not consistent with your own rating definition. You said "D" means useless, "B" means it is very situational, working only with specific ships or situation. If yes, then why the bubble is "S" tier? I mean "S" means an EWAR what you will use all the time, mandatory item in PvP - regardless of the hull etc. You can't use bubble in High Sec or Low Sec. So it is completely useless in FW. I agree it is very strong and useful - but can't use in all the situation. Or grappler - okay this is what you can fit on BS hull, but very useful - especially against small targets who try to go under the guns. Should be higher than "C" category. Infinite point only "C"? Super useful module especially in LS and HS where the bubble not allowed to use. What I really like in EVE ONLINE is that is very complex and balanced mechanics and items. Not like other games where if you get the hot drop and the best items your winning chances increasing significantly. In EVE you can kill a multiple billion worth BS even with a relative cheap small ship or cheap small ships together. And there is no "nr1" or Best-in-slot item in the game. All you can put in "B" tier as all they have their own situation when they are the good or bad choices.

thanks for the comment! very well thought out. Like you said its hard since the game is so complex and each part of space has their own rules. Might have been better to make different tier lists based on security of space like Null, LS, WH etc. For bubbles, I like that fact they you can bubble in & out gates and set up a drag bubble all at the same time in one ship. Also most bubblers can also be fast tackle (sabre & eris mostly but flycatcher can too). I realize that they dont perform in LS or HS but some ships are literally impossible to kill without bubbles. HICs are great, just a bit too slow and require surrounding support to make the most use of them. Personally I would rather fly a Lachesis, less tank but with a faction scram hits further as well a 60km disruptor and 2-3 sensor damps as well. I could be wrong but the infinite point seems overated unless you are tackling a warp stabbed hauler or capital ship. HIC bubble is bigger than normal bubble I agree, but prefer the mobility and multiple bubbles of a interdictor. grapplers are good, idk I just feel having a large/medium neut does the job better. also good tackle pilots wont just faceplant into a battleship, they will orbit between 8500 and 13km if its a normal vs bling scram or an interceptor. I have gotten a lot of push back here and on reddit about the HIC in general, I'll have to fly it more clearly. But like you said, pvp in general is too open ended with different rules across the game to make a singular tier list like this.

​@@eventon9372 I like the tier rating I saw another content creator use a year or so ago. S: Very Strong A: Situationally very strong, or strong B: Situationally Strong, or mediocre C: Situationally mediocre, or weak D: Situationally weak, or very weak.

disrupter and scram should not be same tier. disrupter are more like A tier, because tho they have longer range, the strength of the scram are lower, and they do not turn of microwarps, witch scrams do. you rarely ever see a pvp ship out in nullsec without both scram/disrupter and web, so web should probably an S tier. my weapon of choice when it comes to pvp, are Curse and pilgrim usually fitted with neuts and weapon disruption and guidance disrupter, and i think you greatly underestimate how powerfull those are. in some cases guidance disrupters are better, because they works 100% of the time when you use them on missile ships, and lower the overall dmg output to the enemy. there are some ships and turret systems thats more or less totaly immune to tracking disruption, but thats rather rare, because you can choose between tracking disruption or range disruption. the ships that have really good tracking get hit hard by range disruption because they usually are really short range blaster weapons, wile the longer ranged weapons get hit hard by loosing their tracking. the combination of disrupting weapons, and neut ships so you turn of their weapons and/or their active defence are really scary, and a pilgrim can turn alot more powerfull ships into spacedust given the chance. more then once ive litterly saved corp mates from sure death by turning of enemies ability to hit anything

So basically any ewar which prevents you from getting out of the battle is the best according to the list. In terms of winning the battle, these types of ewar don't really affect any brawl at that time. All incoming and outgoing DPS remains equal and only in time may the damage change if a capacitor is neuted out. However the importance of these forms of ewar greatly changes if a battle turns into a war. Most ewar in the highest tear will prevent a ship from moving around fast, either on grid or leaving grid. This prevents repairing, repositioning and other strategic actions basically allowing the ship to get removed from the game and a killmark earned. War won ;) IGN : Spectral Spectre

Love the ECM Jams, but I'd put them on C-Tier. They're just about worthless if you have the wrong type. Damps on the other hand, it's universal. IGN: Soon-Shin Lee

I completely agree, its pretty safe to bring blue, yellow and red. If ECM was scriptable but a little less range and effectiveness, I would put it at A tier for sure.

nice thing about the TP is that is always works and its very long range, just vs certain ships a web would be more effective for application.
