BTW they removed starter items and moved maps so those no longer apply but the overall idea behind your build path, the map layout (seeing as they're similar maps), and team comps apply - except maybe double tank meta. I'll be making an updated video explaining new joust meta.

With almost 3,000 hours played joust is 85% of my matches played. i figured 90% of what i know out myself just via playing so long. My current understanding is Never Miss Wave, Clear Camps if there’s no wave, Only back after you clear the wave unless you’re gonna die trying to clear it, and everything else is just god matchups and itemization

That's the basics yeah. I haven't watched this yet, but I'll say knowing when you should dive or when you need to pressure/defend bdk also helps. Learning cd's and fighting when their ults or relics are down and yours are up, and which relics to go are very important too. In general fighting with an advantage is critical. If you have a 3v2 advantage, etc. It's also rarely worth it to dive a 1v3 when they're low health, even if you're full health. Lastly, knowing proper trades is equally valuable. Even if it's a 1 for 1 trade, if your teammate is a 12 and they're 3-0, it's not worth it for them to die to kill someone 0-3 that's lvl 11. Not only are you worth more xp, but they get extra gold from getting a shutdown, etc. All those nuances help

I'm going to be doing a video soon on all the new items and how they fit into joust. But even with the nerf to heroism I think its very good especially if you're going up against crowd control heavy gods, so overall its a very good starter that can almost always be built and work. However, its not as good as it once was so really only buy it on one of the tanks I would say.

I would probably make sure that you have good peel since she doesn't really have a good escape other than her ulting or her invisibility in her three. So maybe a cabrakan , but also she's good at countering specific gods so targeting your opponents with a specific God with CC is good so if you have a fenrir or da ji on your team thats good to turn into. But other than I don't think she should be a mage you go every game; I think there are better mages seeing as she's not a safe pick.

If you're just starting off playing i would recommend using it only to get a general grasp about how the game play works before going in-depth with the items. But once you understand it you should learn the items: what they do and when to build them. So yes if you dont eventually discontinue auto purchasing, it is bad.

@@charliekelly8509 i go over it at around the 24:22 mark. But if you're playing her in joust I'd suggest going: deaths toll, asi, executioner, Quin's sais, and the last two items you can pretty much do anything like: berserkers shield, or dominance or crusher. But in conquest the build goes crit.
