Cool video. This is my favorite class of ship but I haven't tried the endurance much. In wormholes we would almost always use the venture over the prospect for ease of access, and cost effectiveness. You can align so fast as long as you have good reflexes you are very hard to catch without a smartbomb or a sabre in just a venture. Plus the ship is so cheap it really doesn't matter if you die. However, stepping into a prospect feels very comfy for safe travel. Feels like mining in a buzzard. You can sig tank certain wormhole gas sites in a prospect look at yodik's videos. Also if you have a cloak you shouldn't need warp stabs for anything you can just cloak and warp off unless you are in a cloud but even then you can warp so fast it is so hard to catch an active covops pilot

Have you seen my Venture vids, it is one of my favourite ships in the game for those reasons! :) And yes you can speed tank a lot of rats in any of these ships, i think it was battlecruisers in the venture vid.

The covert ops cloaking device only need lvl 4 of cloaking, and as said already by @Jacob, the are many T2 modules that require only lvl 4 or even lvl 3, at least for frigates size hulls, e.g. energy nosferatus, cap batteries, cap rechargers, afterburners, microwarp drives, shield booster, shield extender, shield hardener, shield resistance amplifiers, shield rechargers, and many more.

Great video as always. I don't leave home without my Expy Frigs. Couple of notes: skill book for gas cloud harvesting is very expensive, and the T2 gas suckers are definitely worth it unless you want to spend hours and hours at a cloud (and of course you only have about 15 minutes until the bad guys show). A long train path for sure, but oh so worth it. I've been ganged up in wormholes a bunch of times and have yet to lose one.

Having recently been playing in an Endurance, I wanted to note that with a Warp core stab fitted your drone bandwidth is reduced by 50%, therefore only allowing one small drone to be flown.

Nice informative video thanks. The Endurance seem very nice with the 300% bonus & makes the Prospect seems very underwelming & pointless. Perhaps as a new player im misunderstanding something, but when it comes to gas havesting as a new player its all about speed, espcially if you are wormhole huffing like me. So just having a larger hold matter much less .. unless you can fill it faster. Even thou i have moved past the point of ninja gas mining & can clear out the rats for smaller gas sites myslef. The constant ganking situation usually means you dont get to fill a venture anyway. But perhaps it will make sense later on or in null sec.

If it’s all about evasion, are the warp core stabilisers worth it? Every time I have been found I always get warp jammed regardless and then I’m dead. So, I get the sense that minimising scan radius to delay targeting and to have agile/swift alignment for warp might be best practice? (Was thinking’s of those nano fibre modules for better alignment speed?) Would ECM or Sensor dampers work? I ask because I’m new and still learning, any advice is appreciated :D

Yes and no, you still have to get through gates etc and can make the difffernce there. It is all down to what is trying to kill you and impossible to cover everything! .. I usually show pretty 'safe' builds initially and elaborate from there. ECM drones in the endurance seem a good idea. The problem with ecm fitted to ship is that it will not stop you getting locked, just others. burst ecm can work though but is a dice roll. Inertial stabs are good for agility but do boost scan radius a bit so i never use more than 1. Nano fibre has no real downside, just a little less hull. I will spend a little more time in each ship, in wh and low sec and see what feels right.. let me know how you're getting on. Not being there when they try to lock you is always the best idea and you can get very brave with cloaking as they land on grid and sneaking about.. xD

There's a lot of T2 weapon upgrades that only require level 4 weapon upgrades. But I can't remember if there is a skill you need at 5 before you skill weapon upgrades.

2nd. So watched vid and now just a few tips from a Gas Huffer. Drop the stabs and go other prop mods and DCU. Learn to Dscan. 2nd drop the MWD and go AB

The MWD will stay on mine, i like what they do, it is only used to position on the belt /site, why be slower, the sig radius bloom is not relevant here and i can use it to speed tank some rats nicely if I am in the mood? DCU, maybe on a prospect but I would go for evasion over tank myself.. Like I said the bottom slots were for illustration and are a very personal choice. I wouldn't fill them with stabs, probably one in low sec, others wont leave home without them since they heard about faction scrams xD. I have done gas mining vids and the D scan was of course a prominent feature, even got the venture to hack a relic site during one, and a kill on the way home after switching the gas suckers for blasters ;)

@@daddex9222 agree to stick w MWD on the huffer.....those clouds are a long ways from each other. If you mine inside the cloud, a cloaked dictor will get uncloaked and give you time to scoot before he can deploy a bubble. Now, if he's already camping a cloud before you get there, he wins the "boring eve guy" award and you're screwed anyway. Almost zero chance of that happening. If I recall, an AB on an Endurance makes a painfully slow boat a little less painful, but still painful anyway. Mining WH ore anomalies solo is asking to die (and the ore is lousy anyway these days), so I will use my venture instead.

My only porblem is that whenever i explore a wh (I don't mine) enemy players always come with boubles and against that you need an interdiction nullifier because warp core stabilizers don't work, so add that to the list. If you are in lowsec, not in null or wh than it isn't needed due to the empire ban.

so endurance is not used for wh space only low sec mining? Im seeing that there's really no reason for the endurance? I mean, you can ice mine in hi sec and eve tells you where the sites are.

You certainly could and if i felt pretty safe where I was and was staying local i maybe would. When on more of a 'roam' i think spare combat drones are handier and i would prioritise survivability over productivity always.

@5:15 Damage Control II requires only Hull Upgrades IV - that's the first that comes to mind.

Another good vidéo In low sec you have big ships* ok belts and take prospect or the other one is good but if NPC battle ship* come in you cannot mine. (2 problems with Npc and player no safe)

Not really since that is only ever an issue if someone is trying to lock and you shouldn't be allowing that to happen. The MWD is there for gates, getting off the warp in quickly and speed tanking the rats. It works :) o7

Nothing in Eve is PTW really mate. pay to do stuff quicker maybe, but doing that can just mean losing stuff quicker so I think it balances. I have a lot of fun and make a pile of ISK on the free Alpha accounts which pays a big chuck of the subbed accounts, i am winning :)

You are absolutely right.. nothing is really pay to win, until you can use real currency to obtain skill boosters advancing you in a game faster. When I used to play this game it took a lot of time to get SP, now you can get that with the snap of a credit card.. which would be a waste of your time to join an army full of people who are always playing something else on discord because even they are too board to maintain sov. Everything about this game sucks now.

@@jorgejeffries5855 Dude, it's MMO game. There is always ptw mechanics in MMOs. At least in Eve it's not that bad, Eve way more dependent on player's skill rather than char or expensive equip. And ptw always was here, it's not new implementation.
