It’s a separate game that will be connected through the eve universe. Over time it’s supposed to become more part of / have more influence on Eve Online. It is supposed to be part of the pirate war against the empire forces for example.

Theoretically Serpentis is a under faction of Angel - As far as i recall the Serpentis ships we fly in game is attributed to Guardian Angels - which is an Angel Cartel wing in charge of guarding Serpentis - who really are just drug manufactures x)

I have similar thoughts. I have tried so many times to get into this game, but I have always left with disappointment. I don't have anyone in my friend group to play with and I don't have time to get more serious with people I don't know, because I can only play games a couple of hours per week. It's a shame because I really want to like this game. It ticks all the boxes for me, except a big minus with this game, the PvP. I hate always-on PvP because it leads to ganking and griefing, something I've encountered a lot in this game.

I've been in Eve now for 4 years as a solo casual. I make plenty of currency for my fun. It's not actually that hard to learn... hard to master though as there are so many possibilities. That's what keeps it fun and interesting. So many ways to play, so many things to do. It's a sandbox.

A disposable alpha alt scout, intel channels, friends who will scout for you, hauling services like Red Frog, etc. Any ship can fit an interdiction nullifier and warp core stabilizer to avoid bubble camps. I just slipped away from a camp the other day in an industrial fitted thusly and filled with 300m isk worth of goodies. Planetary Interaction is a bit challenging to set up, but once it is, can easily provide passive income of 300-500 million isk per month or more (if all 3 of your toons mine planets). It only takes a few minutes per toon to reset and collect once or twice per week.

Eve doesn't "force" you to do anything dude. You can become a billionaire doing market trades and never even undock. There is a sliding scale of risk vs reward, so if you want the big prizes, you have to risk big too. If you want to play it safe, that is valid, but don't expect to get mega rich hiding under CONCORD's skirts.
