I just stared Eve and I was instantly drawn towards mining! Glad I found you videos it definitely helps with what I’m trying to do!

i miss my Porpoise drone mining days. Same thoughts as you; it was so chill to me, screw the meta.

I'd love to see another hour long video with the Porpoise. I'm currently skilling into it right now and looking to solo drone mine with it. Especially since I mine ice already myself. Trying to get my isk income to a point monthly where I can Omega my alt, but for the most part am excited to use it cuz how much longer I'd be able to stay on grid and mine especially since I have an extremely safe HS ore spot. End goal is eventually to have an Orca.

nice video , with the open high slot maybe consider a passive auto targeting system for extra locked target slots
@boris3878 Жыл бұрын
a porpoise can only reach a maximum of 5 targets.
@DoddyIshamel5 ай бұрын
@boris3878 that's why you would fit an autotargetter to increase it

What about a series of post-solo mining? how you utilize these ores into any time of self sustain ie building yourself things to use/sell?

Yes! a longer video, awesome!

Looking to mine moon ore in a fairly quiet null system. Have option of 4 covetors or 3 covetors and a porp. Any advice appreciated. Would T2 mining frigates be better? Not considered using drones as a lot to clean up if someone warps in on me. Thanks for you vids again!

I love the longer video. Could you plz do a mack. I just got into exumers and chose a mack to start off, I want to make sure I'm doing ok. I mine in a .5 area and I use an alt in a mais and drop can the ore to my alt who takes it to a compression station, then back to base. Seeing how you would run a mack would help me alot. Thanks.

is heavy water only used for compression ?

For passive income is better to establish planetary + selling the "useless" sp from t5 imp clone + selling stuff on fringe systems while playing on main char for fun and\or profit
@8vI Жыл бұрын
You can also start multiboxing another character and then mining and the question of fun dissolves. You can mine and do whatever else.

The indy module increases drone yield also

how do you do folders in the drone window ?

How long would it take to mine enough for omega with this ship? Also what about fleet op for new Bros
@revamp224511 ай бұрын
Have you checked the actual value in your hold..because refining loss is not factored in nor sales tax.. its really deceptive..and return to the eyes based..

do you have a tuto video about ore compressor, industrial core, fuel bay ?

Ive been interested in solo mining or multiboxing rare resources like moroxite (spelling) in border systems.

What is the yield per minute on this setup?
@paulsaintclair976110 ай бұрын
Yeah I like stacking as well. Mining works really well with manufacturing. Profits ratios' are increased with extreme cost reduction.

does mining drones not get affected by mining boosts?
@JAKEL33T Жыл бұрын
No
@alexbaciu9331 Жыл бұрын
Why are you not using boosts? Doesn't it boost drones yield?
@Fez8745 Жыл бұрын
if its still the same as the last time i played, mining boost does not effect drones
@hereticalcoffee Жыл бұрын
Mackinaw would be much better for solo mining. Cheaper, quicker income generation, the docking and undocking times are negligible.
@BBRAIN1977 Жыл бұрын
always thought the people who mined did use bots for it.

@@jozefkovac6858 Well, that is where the Eve-Online "Economy" comes from ... hehehe. Being sarcastic here. Bots[2] are a plague! (And btw "Bug Cleaner" is also a honorable EVE profession:))) @BBRAIN1977: Absolutely legit and calming what Jake does, sharing his knowledge and impressions with us viewers. We (friends and I) done such mining session for ages. Instead of dancing? Hehe. Two people in a barge are enough, drinking a good wine or beer and talking about this and that while the night passes by. Yeah ... not everyday, but sometimes this is a nice way to kill time. (And as we see here ... the mining really isn't the important part, but everything social around it, hehehe). [1] Have a gg capsuleers!:) [1] Getting all your raw materials yourself is btw the entry point for a possible addiction. If you start to write your own software tool that helps you to find and organizes best trade routes (I am talking about years ago. Such tools are nowadays web-based and easily available ... naaah, but not as good as mine:P hehehe), you have to ask yourself if you not better take a step back?! Mining this way in my opinion is a waste. If ya wanna do lo get a retriver and do do. It is cheaper and you will make more per hour plus you can fit more mining drones.
@darviniusb Жыл бұрын
This is a bot game and unless they start to support the miners the economy collapses because everything in this game is build from resources that miners get. And if they keep makeing it harder to mine then few will mine and ship prices sky rockets even more. Inflation in this game was 100% in last couple of years already.
@dutamulia7 ай бұрын
isk printing is so easy from quests and stuffs, there's no way inflation is not severe
