I would like to point out that Chance's ship is fully optimized, both in Skills and Modules, and fitted specifically for PvP encounters. An analogy would be that one screwdriver is better to remove a screw than 8 hammers.

I say in the video that the Scorpion doesn't do anything, but you can tell it jams me at several points, both after the Griffin is dead and at times like 5:35 where it jams me over the half-cycled Griffin jams.

Yeah I think the jams were mostly the scorp, as the griff only had multispec's and I wouldn't expect those to hit that often.

Exactly. It's totally common to see uncalled for hot drops on pinned targets. If they keep coming, it's cause someone range the dinner bell. And that can be heard throughout a 30 corp alliance through info comlinks in a matter of minutes.

Thomas Kimmel IMO, Chance made the right call in GTFOing. The last Stratios that entered the fight was the same pilot as the bait Astero. If Chance kept engaging, then the other pilots that got destroyed but not podded would have enough time to come back with fresh ships.

WaveForceful well, depends on the fleet set up. In my corps fleets, we often run initial light tackle, followed by heavy tackle, followed by blistering DPS. I usually run a DPS ship, but also always have at least one form of tackle, be that a web or a scram.

Okay so here's the simplest way to explain it. I was in wormhole space (the most dangerous security area, with no cops or local chat), and I found an Astero (a kind of weak, but expensive, scanning ship). I thought attacking it might be a trap, but I decided to attack it anyway in the hopes of killing an expensive ship. As I start engaging it, 8 of the Astero's friends start appearing. It was a trap and they had been waiting nearby to pounce on me. In most situations you can imagine 8v1 you will die very very fast. I was expecting to die, but I wanted to waste their time and maybe kill 1 of them to cost them something for the attack. Anyway, as I start running away it turns out none of them have a webifier (a module to slow me down) so instead they are forced to chase me in a big conga line. They use electronic warfare modules to disable my sensors (and prevent me from locking them or directly attacking them) but my Stratios cruiser has a lot of drones, and my drones were set to automatically attack. So while I am flying "blind" they are just ripping up everyone chasing me. The people chasing me were trying to stop me from warping so they dropped those big bubble spheres, warp interdiction bubbles. The thing was, it also prevented them from warping. So when my drones started killing them they could not run away and basically they all just started dying... lol! The "Curse" ship attacking me was using Energy Neutralizers, modules that eat up your capacitor. Normally this would disable a ship very quickly, but I was lucky and happened to have two large capacitor batteries that make it very hard to neutralize you. This was SUPER lucky because this was an experimental fit for my ship that very few people use. Basically it is the only reason I lived. So in the end their mistakes + my luck + keeping the repairs and other modules balanced + good drones meant they all died and I finally was able to escape!

A drone is a remote controlled robot that fights for you, some ships in EVE online can launch them (my ship had them too, which is how I was able to fight even when my sensors were disabled). The ships are normally visible but I zoomed out to get a better view of where the enemy ships were in relation to mine. In EVE some ships can fight at up to 100km or more away.

Basically, wingspanTT was exploring and came upon another explorer in a smaller ship that looked like bait. Still, he attacked. Turns out it was bait, 8 buddies show up, but they can't manage to break the active repair (tank) of Sir Chance Ravine, and don't target his drones, which is pretty stupid considering it is his only means of attack, and that they have jammers to prevent him to lock onto anything. So he killed most of them and escape. These guys were noobs. They brought battleships, which is *TWO* classes higher than what Wingspan had (cruiser), and still he wrecked them. There is no excuse for them.
