Will you try and optimize for a T5 version of this? I'd really like to get back to doing abyssals again and I enjoy your fits a lot. I just find that electricals T5-T6 profit really get slashed in half because of the filament cost, so a T5 firestorm fit for the Gila would be really awesome :D

I have been doing hybrid tank on my Gila since Abyssals came out lol, people always thought I was crazy since I wasn't going full buffer. Nice video!

Why is your Thermal Shield hardener not showing up on your hud? It's an active module is it not?

Any advice on a 6 leshak wave/room? Lost the Gila trying to keep range on the first go in a T4 after practicing on T3s for months 😔 they took out drones (Hammer T2's) and easily pummeled through the shield.

Nice video as always. I been meaning to ask is there a way to do T1 or T2 maybe with a laser ship Becuse 1 of my charter is pure Amarr focused becuse my other 2 charters are more versatile with missile or arty and so on. But would be fun if even my pure Amarr pilot could do some abyss sites with out the need to train missiles. I know missiles are great and all but it´s no fun if all your charters are missiles users.

Punisher for electrical t1 works great, meta4 costs 4mil and full t2 is around 10mil and just does them a bit faster Beam lasers, ab, cap battery, 2 reps, 2 heat sinks, resist mod, rigs for dps/tank as needed I'm pretty sure it can do every spawn if you know what you're doing (I certainly did pass the kikimora and cynabal rooms at least once without going into hull, but I don't remember exactly what I did against the cynabal) but if you die it's only to the rare spawns and you need to just do one site (8-12 mins) to pay off the ship anyway You can also try confessor for t2 or even t3 but I'm not sure about that

You'll need to play with the fitting a bit cause it's tight in pg without a fitting rig, but the general idea should stay the same

I have actualyy tried this a lot. Very possible but for me firestroms are a lot more stressful so I go for exotics. Exotics already can at times get close in terms of completion time. T6 firestorm almost every filament apart from lucky spawns is very borderline (17-18 min). Sadly there isn't much more you can do for DPS apart from triple faction ddas,

I don't know how you get this isk/h... I am doing gammas in your Gila fit, and the average loot is 21M... If you calculate the 9M filaments in it that's 12M/run and 48-50M/h.... Which is far far away from the 100M+....

it sounds like luck hasnt been on your side. the runs that give the fat isk are when you get really good filament drops like chaotic electrical, or even cataclysmic electrical . easily 50m+ in a single run (got one last week that gave 70m)

Not alpha/low skill points friendly - I am using alt for t4 farming and it gets killed quite easily. There is no cap when using booster so few neuts and everytching is off - you dead. I throw away dda for dc, passive thermal for pith x-type, shield rig for ccc II and exchange 1 dda for faction as there was cpu issue. I am also using 'augmented hammerheads''and mid-grade crystal. I works on char with ~6m skill points.

Hi Ace, what's that flying technique where you drag out from the center and it creates a circle and a line that goes so far and stops. I'm kind of new to running abyss and have lost a couple nice ships by going out of bounds and that looks really precise.

@@Aceyface yeah the test server is a blessing. This doesn't survive Karen if you run straight into the webbing cruisers. Edit: With my skills, i can't make this work. Taking way too much damage, really. Either i kill neuts first and stuff just spools on me, or i get neuted out. Tank stat wise the two ships look pretty similar, dps is quite a bit lower (725 ish not 800+). Cap Regen is slightly worse because imperfect skills. I'm really not sure what i'm doing wrong though.

yes, keep range because neuts are more effective up close. when starving leshaks are down go in to do missiles. all the time keep transversal up.

I’ve done that a few times over the years :-) I wish I didn’t get rid of my main chars now but that’s hind-site hehe, I’ve just got back to eve, on,y a 24m sp char but really enjoying it.
