Not all goodfights end up in a win, that Tama fight looks like it was a blast tbh. Getting dumpstered every now and then is a good learning experience too, kinda how you mentioned the "feroxes oh god no" rule of engagement. Awesome stuff, I'm sure I'll bump into ya at some point in your travels and I'll be sure to toss an o7 in local! And maybe some bullets. :)

Cool video as usual. This makes me wonder how you got started with the solo haw dread stuff ? Did you just shitfit a dread and go out there ? When I was pvping I would already get the shakes fighting with stuff that I knew I could afford to lose, might have had a heart attack if I was flying around in a multi-billion ship...

I had done a lot of FW frigate PvP at that point, and was training alts into dreads. Right around the time I had the first alt up and running, Big Miker released ferocious 9.0, and I said "Man do I want to do that" I fit up a HAW rev, went out and picked a fight with (no joke) a 12 man c02 frigate gang, they fought to the last man and I had the shakes so hard I thought I was going to puke. I was hooked...

Honestly, not saying I didn't enjoy the video because I did. There isn't enough of this type of content on youtube that's fairly recent. But I personally think I just enjoy the epic fights more. That being said it is also good to learn from your mistakes, even if I make the same ones I've seen you making just due to adrenaline making my fingers go dumb. Just wanted to put in my feedback that I'd prefer the epic fights. Good video still!

I’m ten years removed from the Eve Online loop, but whatever happened to HAC and Battleship gangs? Has the nullsec mentality shifted to lower-cost, higher numbers of pilots, type of PvP? Your videos are fascinating, and bring back so many memories. I see a lot has changed, and there is still so much that remains the same. Is honor-tanking still an Eve meme? 😀

I'm really glad you enjoy them. The current null meta is cap heavy, caps have become very common. People still use subcaps, but there is so much ISK in the system there is definitely not a drive towards cheaper hulls (or at least no a universal drive). There are for sure HAC and Battleship fleets, I try hard to engage more kitchensink "for fun" fleets because a solo dread gets dunked pretty hard by say a battleship fleet with logi.

Drop is a combat booster (drug) that improves turret tracking. Exile is a combat booster that improves local armor repair. HAW stands for High Angle Weapons, which are dread guns that do less damage but have better tracking than the normal cap guns (i.e. are intended for use against subcaps.)

Yesterday I roaned lowe sec for the first time lost 3 tormentors and got podded once. Experience gained. Oh and one waring from corp that if i continue to fly in low and null I might just get the boot. On a side note I plan to leave once i get better at the pvp stuff or sooner if I get kicked. Lasker Emanuel your videos got me hooked on internet spaceships and pvp. Maybe some day I'll get the chance to fly with or against you o7 fly safe.

difficult transition for some to make it a habit. When you are in the moment, people resort back to their original habits, in this case the clicking.

This is four fights spread over quite a bit of time, I do move from mostly clicking to mostly hotkeys, but I definitely still click some. The first fight is pretty early in my HAW dread skill development, the last is much more recent.

i wanna bit salty here. i know its easy for you to use hotkey when u go to fleet.. u just have to follow fc command and press f1 .. soloing isnt like that. if u manage to click f1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and perfectly evaluate the circumstance, pretty sure u can go stream twitch and get free donation like lussy lou.

I'm not sure which fight you are looking at, but in general I switch targets when it looks like I cannot track the one I am on or it will not break.

tama: keep neut on one of the logi, keep both logis locked up, because there was 3 times they recived dmg from the paladin, and u didnt act on it. and reload before u want to hardswitch, vni should have been dead.

A couple of different things, but for one example, I anticipated the nerf to pirate battleship BPC drop rates and sunk all the ISK I had into them, I made about 40b off of that play.

We thought about production and PI as income. Since I've a 8+ faction standing on our HQ station but sometimes - especially on t1 ships - the prices in Amarr are that low it wouldn't even add up in needed minerals. Do you know how other ppl could prod and miner that cheap? O_o Any tipps for beginner prodders? :D Thanks in advice and fly safe (or not xD)

even though that first fight had a lot of mistakes and you might have been able to kill more and maybe even survived. In my opinion if I was you, Id say that was a good fight despite mistakes, you killed some of their ships in a BLAZE OF FURY!!!

@@kenshin8858 Strangely, "secure containers" in this case the "Giant Secure Container" is larger on the inside, so if you put the containers in your inventory, and then put the cap boosters in them, you can carry more.
