Enemy FC wtf was he thinking... after loosing 20 ships and being obviously bate tanked... lets just keep fighting till the last man v0v
@LaskerEmanuelEVE5 жыл бұрын
He still had a function fleet here, and could still conceivably have killed me (And may have been burning bombers or something else their while we are fighting), I actually think his decision making was fine in this one (and it ends with me disengaging, not them). I have had some fight where I kill very nearly the whole gang I am fighting. The first fight of my first Rev video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4STnZ-ArsygnbM, or this fight I had with Test during the PL invasion: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zmewdmh9jKyKmqs In both cases, they clearly stay longer than optimal, but whether they had backup on the way, undocked planning on fighting to the last man, or just had an FC who misjudged things is hard to say. I will say that I tend to overstay, I generally want to fight more than I want to run, and I am often very optimistic my chances. Perhaps some day I will put up a video of me welping a whole fleet to a HAW dread :)

High....do u still play eve? And if yes than can u post a titan gameplay....or even a Lancer Dread Better would be both but thats what i wanna see from a player like you How do u use supercapitals
@PJRyan-m9n Жыл бұрын
I would hazard a guess that both of those particular ships are quite horrible for solo pvp. Aside from being insanely expensive, the Titan is slow with horrible tracking and is a beacon of "come shoot this", and the Lancer is a very niche ship with pretty poor damage output and way too much cost for its performance. It's kinda like being asked to take a Blops and fight a traditional battleship or faction battleship 1v1. The economics simply aren't there.

The point is to help the gang I am fighting feel that they are winning and so hang out on grid and let me kill them. This technique is sometimes called "bait tanking", in a situation where you cannot warp disrupt your opponents (they can point me so I cannot warp off, they have 50 ships, I cannot point them, I do not have 50 mid slots, but if they want to stay and fight...). Minmatar weapons have lower DPS then Hybrids or Lasers. They do less dmg. And going siege mod fades the bonus of speed and agility of Minmatar ships
@LaskerEmanuelEVE6 жыл бұрын
Ah, I see what you are saying. It's very true for the smaller stuff, but less true for dreads. The Nag does good damage compared to other dreads, and also had good tracking, and a nice range of ammo types for different situations. Using the "standard" fits I commonly use, the DPS with perfect skills is: Nag: 3066 Moros: 3311 Rev: 2843 The Rev benefits from the instant ammos swap, and the long optimal range, and the Nag benifits from the huge falloff, enabling you to hit stuff that is further out. The Moros ends up being the one that struggles with a combo of reload time and range limitations. Of the turret dreads Nag and Rev are my favorites, and Moros is absolutely 3rd place.

@@LaskerEmanuelEVE one thing about your cap booster. Try to keep your capacitor at 25% where the cap regen is at max. Near zero and near full capacity, the recharge rate is very low, and it peaks at 25 percent.
@LaskerEmanuelEVE5 жыл бұрын
@@antontkachenko1644 This is true, but if you watch through enough of my dread videos, you will notice three things. One is that I very rarely die from running out of cap boosters, in fact exactly once in 50+ dread fights. The second is that the most common way to die is taking enough damage that while the rep has enough throughput, the cap booster does not, so ultimately the inability to get cap into the system fast enough is the cause of death. The third is that in a number of earlier fights, I was able to kill a bunch of opponents, and then jump a gate or shed all the tackle, but I was not at jump cap, they caught up with me, and I ultimately died. As a function of these three things, I now inject often and as hard as possible, because having as much cap as possible maximizes both chance of living and your duration staying on field fighting when you go down.
@antontkachenko16445 жыл бұрын
@@LaskerEmanuelEVE rgr that. I don't do cap pvp, so was talking from the subcap pilot perspective. There are always not enough cap batteries in my cargo so i'm always trying to optimize capbooster usage as good as i can. Ty for clarifying this part.

In the video I am flying a Dreadnought, a large, hard hitting, mobile ship originally designed to siege structures. The fit I use in the video has 3066 DPS and a local tank of 11,214 DPS before drugs, implants, or heat. In this fight they don't have the DPS to overwhelm my local tank, so the risk to me are that they would hold me long enough to run me out of cap boosters, or that they would hold me for an escalation with either bombers or caps, or they would hold me until a third party can show up (again with some sort of escalation).

HTP literally drops on caps in Provi every day, and have killed Lasker a few times - Provi is a much more casual place to be with limited reinforcement opportunities vs somewhere like Delve, it's why it's always chock full of PvPers.

I absolutely get dropped on all the time. You can see it in this video, in the Golem video, in the Vargur video. It's part of the game. Mostly I am solo, every now and then I have friends around :)
