They finally CHOSE each other willingly and that's the confirmation I needed for Villaneve. It's happening guys, Villaneve IS canon and we will get them in season 4!! Couldn't be happier!! While I loved the finale and it gave us our drug of choice, I honestly don't see the writers and producers giving us EXACTLY what we want with these two. Beautiful sensitive edit and choice of music, Infinitex. I'm with you - I don't buy the 'twisted psychopathic obsession' line, and Villanelle doesn't need a label. It's a love story and a work of art. It can be taken literally, but equally Villanelle's propensity to kill can be read as a metaphor for the tendency that people who have been traumatised by emotional neglect and abandonment in childhood sometimes have to mistrust others and spoil relationships. In loving Eve, she learns to care and to discover her humanity. She is redeemed by the fact that Eve sees the good in her, as we do... ❤️

I've never been into drugs myself, just women who were. Yrs ago, I had a friend who always wanted to shoot me up w/ heroin. Said that it would make me feel like my whole body was having an orgasm. I responded, hell no; I didn't want to try anything that dangerous w/ the potential to make me feel that good. And maybe kill me in the process. Getting involved w/ Villanelle would be a lot like playing Russian roulette w/ a similarly addictive drug. My friend eventually succumbed to her habit, so good luck to Eve. (But damn: Saying no to drugs is one thing, resisting Villanelle would require a whole 'nother level or 10 in strength of willpower!) Poor Niko never had a chance. No man in his situation ever does.
