I love the soft beaters on it and it’s also breathtaking how this barrel resonates, when you play instruments like the kalimba using the resonance. It’s beautiful! Would you be angry, if I get me a barrel like this? Maybe you should find a company to produce such barrels and market that thing. Every composer, who works in film and media, needs one.

Hey Evelyn, I am from India...you know what we have a story about yours in our English book and the title is truly beautiful...it is "The Sound of Music"...To read about your life and your sheer determination is something that dragged me to this video and further writing this comment....here is a line which is mentioned in my book probably said by you only it is.."It pours in through every part of my body . It tingles in my hair,my cheekbones, even in my skin".. Another good one. I had a tin toy drum, which was essentially like a biscuit tin, but both sides of it were sealed so it couldn't be opened. It was of course, empty, not full of biscuits and it came with two mini wooden drum sticks and there was a string threaded through two holes in the side of the drum so it could be hung round my neck. I can't remember exactly how or when I got it, but my mum said my Aunt, RIP, gave it to me.

I have to say the resonance of them is not only amazing but surprising. Since I loved everything you did its hard to pick a favorite part but the mallets you used in the beginning when you were rubbing them was fantastic. I probably mentioned this before but you should check out morfbeats.com since he makes a gigantic bell(with springs) thats similar to this. Love you!
