The fact that a book is written with a poetic style does not mean it was not an incident that happened. This is a lie from hell, the book of Job was an actual incident that happened. The letters of Paul were indeed written to churches, that is why we read them in the context they were written but the content apply to general christian living, that is why he wrote 2 Tim. 3:16. They are still God's Word given by revelation. The fact that It was captured in a letter does not mean it was his own philosophy.

I concord with you with the most of the points that you have made and your passion in studying the word. However, I disagree with you when you said paul letters are not for us. The Bible has one interpretation but many applications. Therefore, both internal and external evidence are there to help us to understand the deep and light or surface meaning of inspiration. Ephesus, Corinthians, etc were immediate audiences. But applications can go beyond generations, nations, cultures etc. So Paul's letters are applicable to all generations and cultures when we do proper application.
