I just mate a large skull with a 12 mm hook - looks fantastic now it is stuck to the mirror for Halloween. It's big enough to make a face mask! Thank you for sharing

I would use the medium size yarn and a size 3.5 or 4 hook it looks like

You can use any size of yarn or hook you want. It just depends on how large or small you want your skull to be. If you're just starting out, most yarns have the weight and recommended hook size listed on the paper ring around the skein. That's usually a good place to start😊
