One of the big differences between audiences at concerts back then versus concerts now is the iPhone hadn't been invented yet. Lot's of people had cell phones but in 2002 when this performance was recorded, cell phones were mostly used to make phone calls and send texts. So instead of half the crowd videoing the concert with their iPhones like you often see today, back then everyone was focused on the band.

And after that the live version from 97 Molson Amphitheatre, It's perfection, puts the studio version to shame...for real
Rush is a musical journey. You won't get them by one song. Rush is a deep band.

You know you've made it big when you have 40,000 fans singing along to an instrumental piece. And now, in addition to the title track from 2112, I'd like to recommend a few underrated gems from side 2, including A Passage To Bangkok and The Twilight Zone. For a complete change in sound, I recommend Animate and Driven from the 1990s. Cheers from Canada!! 🇨🇦 🎤 🎹 🎸 🥁 🎸 🔥 🔥 🔥

A list of Rush songs that I'd like to see reactions on (that I haven't seen you do): Time Stand Still Freewill Closer To The Heart Lakeside Park Something For Nothing (Live 1976) Working Man / Finding My Way (Live 1976) New World Man 2112 R30 Overture I am kind of partial to Rush's material from my high school years of the late 70's. Geddy's vocals had an awesome, less restrained punch in some of the earlier recordings. Especially on 2112 and the All The World's A Stage albums. Great reactions G! 🤩🎶

One of my favorite rush songs is on grace under pressure and it's called the body electric. I think it's about 2 robots on the run after mankind has left earth or went extinct or something like that 🤔, idk but it's a great song. Check it out dude. I think you'll like it. The entire grace under pressure album was amazing. Thanks 😊.
