I’m a RN. I’ve had a LOT of prisoners over the years, and i specifically told people to NEVER to tell me what they did. ONCE i was told about a patient and I’ll just tell you that helping that person was the hardest thing I’ve done in my career. A lot of bad people in the world, and medical personnel has to care for them.

I will never forget what the ER doctor told me after a car accident caused by a drunk driver where the drunk refused medical care "Imagine they come in here after having caused devastation on others and we have to treat them like any other patient. It's very difficult, but we do it. I'm very happy not to have to treat her tonight so that I can concentrate on you." They were all so kind to me, the ambulance drivers, the hospital personnel, the police officers. The disdain in their voices when they spoke about her was very evident but they did everything by the book. I never asked the cops how they felt about having to arrest their off-duty work colleague, lol

I lost it cause, I am sorry to say it, I have actually thought exactly what he was describing, when I was on a date once. The dude blew on his food for an eternity, while I was just throwing it in, cause I was so hungry, and at one point, when we were outside, he saw something he liked and he jumped up and down slighty...like a little girl. I just could not (for many other reasons too, but this did not help at all). I paid for the food myself so...fair game.

comedy without any meanness is such a beautiful thing. It clearly takes more skill and creativity too. Anyone can stand up there, act like an asshole, and get people to signal support because they're being given permission to be the worst of themselves. If you want to know how truly talented a comic is, listen to see if the audience is laughing vs. clapping. Josh's audiences laugh like they are going to pee themselves.
