Thanks muchly! We try to do our best with the videos. Running a popular and growing shop doesn't leave a lot of time to do these trips, film them and then edit them. We have many more vids coming tho - so stay tuned!

Was just taking to my dad about going up there today. Apparently my Grandpa had a couple of the mines up there.
@EPIC-4WD3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, there's quite a few mining claims up there apparently. We didn't explore much on this trip as we were short on time.
@harrymaylor77003 жыл бұрын
Although the lake is nice and perhaps warmer down there why wouldn't you stay in the alpine? The sunrise and set from up there is amazing.
@EPIC-4WD3 жыл бұрын
One word... bugs. Huge horseflies that take chunks out of your skin. That's why we stayed at the lake ;-)
@harrymaylor77003 жыл бұрын
@@EPIC-4WD Interesting. We had no bugs but last year at Lavina it was exactly as you describe.

Amazing shots guys! What do you think the snow situation would be like this time of the year, especially after such a long winter? :)

You should be good to go by late July. August would be better.

I love watching all your videos. Thank you very much for posting them for all to see. I do have a technical question. I currently own a 2018 JKU Sierra. It has a 2 1/2 inch Rubicon lift with 35 inch tires. As you know, these do not have any lockers. Since I am working on a budget like most people. I was looking to put some air lockers in. Would you recommend me starting with the front axle first? Or would most benefit be if I started at the rear? Please and thanks
@The88champion3 жыл бұрын
the rear is going to be more usable as trying to steer with front locker engaged can be tough
@EPIC-4WD3 жыл бұрын
Rear locker first.

Why did it get closed down?
@m.t.mobile2 жыл бұрын
So, when they decommission a road, does that mean you can never ride on it again? OR only at your own risk? Would you get into trouble if you drove it again this summer?
@EPIC-4WD2 жыл бұрын
With this particular road, there are a few tight and steep switchbacks to reach the top. Once they remove one of those switchbacks, this place is lost to motorized travel forever.
@JamesonWolffFitness2 жыл бұрын
@@EPIC-4WD The switch back are still open correct, at least for a few more months you think? How do you think the snow is up there right now? :)

Where is this trail located? I would love to ride it this summer with my wife on the quad and dirtbike.
@kevinjaczyk35623 жыл бұрын
Hey guys just wondering why are they closing down that trail, how come you're not gonna be able to travel up there anymore is it because of the fires that are going on??
