Idea for a signature move for kaskadian Trevanat: Euphoric Decay- A Pokemon hit with this attack has all of it's stats maxed out for 2 turns but it faints at the end of the 2 turns even if it's switched out.

A good hidden ability for him could be something called "Troubled foliage". This ability would have it to where every attacking grass type move that Kaskadian Trevenant uses have a 20% chance to poison/confuse the opponent.

Although, now that I think about it, there could be a use for the move in Doubles, where Trevenant targets its ally, who is holding a White Herb, with the move. You get 2 turns of super mode, then the backlash triggers, but then the White Herb triggers, resetting the changes to neutral. Thus, after the 2 super turns, the ally simply goes back to normal, no worse for wear.

Recommendation: Go the fangame route instead. Probably easier to edit the base frame of a fangame than an official pokemon game, since this game has such deep and complex weather system nowhere near that of the main series.

Its easier to make a rom hack IMO. Since half the codes are already done for the weathers all you need is to add more, something that isnt impossible and is probably easier than to just remake the entire thing from ground. Also the rom hacking community is way bigger than the fan game ones making it easier to get help with projects and technical issues than a fan game (rpg maker or not). Also everyone can run it on emulators instead of it being heavy making not all pcs being able to play it Oh yeah also Nintendo with copyrights you saw what they did to Uranium (that was 9 year in development)

I'm also a pseudo-marine biologist (hence my name)! Though I'm just here to point out that there's also a goose called the barnacle goose, which is required to jump off of its home cliff before it even learns how to fly in order to evolve from baby to adolescent. Sadly, most are unable to evolve due to quitting the game early whether because it was too hard or because they just couldn't figure out the mechanics. Don't know if this has anything to do with the lockemon, but it is kinda neat!

The reason they are called goose barnacles and why there is a species called barnacle geese is because during the middle ages they thought that barnacle geese emerged from goose barnacles after every winter because they didn't know about migrations. This also meant that they were considered fish and could be eaten during lent when eating meat was forbidden, such a good pokemon design!

OK just saying competitive has a clause called "evasion clause" witch bans all accuracy lowering, or evasion rasing moves and abilitys (double team, sand attack, snow cloak, ect) so pearl drop whould be BANED. I whould recommend changing it so it increases defence or something.

You really understand a great use of pokemon and lockemon. The designs can create interest and bring attention to creatures and phenomenon that many people might never have learned about otherwise. People complain that kids are able to name more pokemon than local wildlife (it's not like pokemon were designed to be marketable and memorable or anything), but if they see something like a hair themed goblin or a gem-eyed rock creature, they might be inspired to look into their origins and learn something new.

The goose barnacle Pokemon is brilliant, absolutely love it. In medieval Britain, people didn’t understand migration, meaning no-one knew what happened to animals like the barnacle goose. The next logical step then is what many people believed in, where they thought that barnacle geese just turned into gooseneck barnacles, due to both having long necks. This meant that when someone saw a barnacle goose that hadn’t migrated yet, they would “help” it by attaching weights and dropping it in the ocean or a lake.

I wouldn't worry, there's so many fangames being made all the time, I wouldnt expect any cease and assist unless it gets like Uranium big. And it's fine since Lockstin is not making money off the fangame directly like Prism's gofundme or Uranium's patreon, only using money from merch from an oc, so it's fine. I think the community is definitely too paranoid about this stuff, Nintendo barely does it.

Weather intensity mechanic: Light Rain/Heavy Rain. Heavy rain damages Fire, Ground and Rock types similar to hail for example. Intense weather effects boost the power of things that benefit from that weather. Windy/Squall: Boosts the speed of Pokemon based on their weight, lighter pokemon gaining more speed. During a squall, light pokemon instead have a chance to be blown away, essentially a weather-based flinch.

Canada geese actually have a pretty cool nature. People likely think they're aggressive because of nest protection, which all birds will do (sometimes self-destructively). But goose nests are grounded, and geese are BIG, so they're less afraid of people. If you are in an environment that doesnt antagonize them, they will be calm, even with a clutch of goselings close. Just in case, it's wise to carry an umbrella. It's a fast and easy way to look big and prevent them from approaching. Maybe a heliolisk would work too?
