Something like this happened to me once. I made a 500 gallon mini jungle in which I poured years of planning, weeks of work and thousands of dollars. I put it as a display piece in my house and I was so proud of it! Then at a dinner party, a woman was taking a picture of it for her instagram but lost her balance and fell on it. I'm from Chile and the Easter Island case made a lot of noise because the tourist didn't even take just a "stone" part of the Moai, it was THE ENTIRE EAR LOBE. This happened in 2008. He had to stay in prison for a short time. I think that the tourist apologized and paid the fine as it was said in the video, but now it's almost impossible to get near the moais.

It seems like most of these accident happen whenever parents bring their kids and they don't keep an eye on them, or not telling them that whatever they do, they don't destroy arts. They should be taught that if you destroy someone's arts, it is like someone tearing a drawing you made and explain to their kids how would they feel if someone destroy their drawing, which is essentially their art and compared that to the real artist's feeling.

A few years ago I was at a museum in Tasmania, Australia and there was an artwork of hanging salami, and I was pretty young so I thought it was kinda dumb and then kicked the salami. After that around five people wearing suits came to see if there was any damage and then basically followed me the whole way around the museum.

This crazy thing happened in Walmart where some lady gets blindsided by a crowd of people coming uncomfortably close to her. She backs away quickly and bumps into a shelf full of breakable holiday ornaments. Several items crash to the floor. She quietly walks away pretending like nothing happened. No one said or did anything about it. Poor lady looked like she couldn't afford to pay for it anyway.
