As much as it's important to know Rodney's story (if you don't learn from history you're bound to repeat it and all), but to make this kid retell and relive his trauma day in and day out without breaks or time to have fun and be a kid is really messed up. Not as abusive as being kidnapped and forced to be a child soldier, I suppose, but still abusive nonetheless...Glad you could provide him with some "humanity time". Big props.

That story at the end is exactly what I needed. Normally I can just listen to this shit and be fine and not feel too much about it beyond just noting how evil these experiments are but these ones really hurt to see and think about so to get that heartwarming story at the end was perfect

In kc in the 90s and early 2000s in kc there was a pair of twins that survived mingles experiments and would tour schools and give speeches to the school children about the horrors of the camps of ww2.

Vipeholm is today a school where I attended high school. All the old buildings where these experiments took place still exist and are now classrooms. They even hold tours during Halloween in the abandoned tunnels under the buildings where they transported the dead bodies when it was still an institute. I also live in Lund, Sweden where Vipeholm is.
