One think about the Ravasaur mount is that in OG vanilla, that quest giver was there - but it was a huge mystery to people as to what he did.

Another little note on the timbermaw rep grind : feather/amulet handins are in wrath 75 rep per 5 instead of just 50, another way its a lot quicker in getting to exalted.

Flying Mounts learnt how to Swim in Cataclysm I Believe, and players could mount while near enough to the Surface of Water (Probably within 5 Yards of the Surface)

Hey, can you check the CD on crafting the special cloth in WOTLK? spellweave used to have 20hr cooldown if i remember correctly but at 3.3.3 the CD was removed and we're entering in patch 3.3.5. so I can't find any info about it

epic mounts are level 40 and way cheaper this one is huge to me im leaving my lvling for prepatch 40-60. Pallys also get a huge buff in the wotlk talents for 40onwards.

So i went and got on the PTR to test the quest now rewards double rep. so if you are farming the rep and see this you should wait until pre patch before turning in your beads and feathers. Mobs do not give rep once revered.

Basic flying being slower than your ground mount _even when on the ground_ was such a slap in the face. 150% makes so much more sense and makes slow flying much more bearable and useful. Getting epic flying on my main in TBC almost ruined all my alts.

Yup. I didn't get an epic mount until pretty late into original Wrath - you do not understand my pain. Only reason to have a 60% speed flying mount was when the game literally forced you to fly to get to a quest area. It was horrible for getting around.

I think the intention was always for you to use epic flying. You were never meant to fly on 60% speed. It appears to me from a game design perspective the 60% flier only existed so that poor people could raid. Since you needed to do tempest keep dungeons to get attuned for kara. So basically the 60% flier was only meant for vertical flight.

I just hope leveling is quicker than it was back then, back when I was in my mid 20’s without kids, wife, real job, etc. Life was simple and no real responsibilities other than working to afford rent, food, fuel, insurance, and subscriptions, lol. I will admit, that feeling after waiting in queue for hours and spawning at the undead starting zone with tons of people questing was something ill never forget. The leveling experience in vanilla is second to none. With that said, i joine the classic servers in hope for wrath and its now a couple of weeks away. If vanilla servers do become populated once again down the line, ill definitely join one. Until then, its off to Wrath!!

Are u asking if current 1-70 with XP buff is faster than wotlk 1-70? I have no clue tbh, but since XP buff stays till wotlk release i think its a valid option to lvl now. What class do u play that makes u struggle? Also there are free guides for lvling supported with addons (restedxp and guidelime I think?), this can help u a lot

Hunters not really needing quivers anymore is really interesting, the quiver stat bonuses weren't introduced until cata so you really can just put arrows in your bags.

Can't help but feel like we're going down the same path. WoW ended up in the shitter in the first place because they kept adding QoL upon QoL and watering down the experience. If people wanted retail it's right there. With this sort of "classic plus" experiment i was hoping that they would rewind, branch off in a different direction and offer a different experience. If we're just gonna go down the same road again I don't really see the point in continuing with Classic.
