I remember when my mom forced me to go into a Christian church, I was really uncomfortable that time, seeing people and calling them weirdos just because their hands were lifted and their eyes flowing with tears. I said to my mom that I will never ever ever go back to that church, but really God is good. It was Mothers' day when my mother asked me if I can just grant her wish, which is to go back to that church, with me. I said yes. The moment the worship team started the service, I don't know why both of my knees got weak, and both of my eyes shed tears.. God is really great.. all you have to do is to accept Him and let Him enter your heart. I love You JESUS! You're the BEST!

It's amazing how God will use our families to bring us back in subtle ways! I went back to church because it was the only time I could see my grandparents and parents because all of us were so busy with activities. I didn't go back for God and I had no intention of being drawn back into the faith but it ended up being God's amazing way to draw me to him. Two months later and now I'm doing daily devotions, I have a christian radio station back on, I'm involved with leading the Youth Group, and so much more! The peace and strength that I feel now is astounding! Praise God for family and praise God for the subtle ways he works in peoples lives!!

I just recently defeated cancer then soon after I found out that my wife was having an affair. My life in the past year has literally turned up side down. I have never felt so hopeless in all my years on this earth. When I heard this song for the first time I broke down and weeped. I was reminded to sing his praises in the good times and the bad. No matter how dark the night gets he deserves my all. My wife and I have are now back together and all I can do is praise God for how good he is. I am truly humbled.

My jaw has been on the floor while my face has been covered in tears. This song COMPLETELY speaks to what my mindset was during my cancer battle (which THANK GOD! I am now cancer free). I couldn't have said it any better than this song. No matter how scared (more than I've ever been), how much pain (the worst I've ever felt), how yucky (for lack of a better word) chemo made me feel...I could praise God. I can honestly say that I never once asked "Why Me?" He was and is with me every step of the way -- from an EARLY diagnosis of triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma (pretty "nasty" & fast moving snake is how my breast cancer was described to me) to all the surgeries after (ovarian, chemo port put in, double mastectomies with immediate reconstruction). I am so glad to have found this song. Seriously...cannot even wrap my mind around how PERFECTLY this fits me.

This song speaks so much to my heart. It's crazy how people "expect" christian to face things just because we have Jesus doesn't mean we don't feel pain it is our ability to lift our hands and praise God in the midst of death, depression, cancer, whatever we face we can praise God because we know "all things work together for those who love the Lord" (rom8v28) When this song says even when it hurts like hell i remember the day i found my six month old unresponsive and not breathing in his crib thankfully i knew CPR from being an infant teacher he started to breath and rushed him to the hospital during some of the testing (which i was not allowed to be in the room for) i went to the chapel and hit my knees and cried out to God but i praised Him because i knew He has a prefect plan for my and Eli (my son). Turns out he had a seizure which caused him to stop breathing but I am thankful because He will be two in July and hasn't had any other episodes. Even when it hurts like hell and we praise him all things do work together for our good.

I was dropping my friend off at her house last night and she noticed there was no music playing in the car. She asked me if I had any music in my phone and I told her, Yeah, but I only have Christian music," knowing that she isn't a Christian. She told me to throw it on anyway. So I played Alive (by Y&F) followed by this song and she instantly fell in love with both songs. She couldn't believe that she was listening to "Christian" music; she had the misconception that the music that I listen to was all "boring, chanting-hallelujah-type-of-stuff". I told her I'm not so sure about the "boring" part but I do sing hallelujah... Anyway, I just wanted to say that this music presented me with the opportunity to have a conversation about Jesus and church with her and she was very surprised and enthused with what I had to say; that we are ALL sinners and are nothing without Jesus. I just want to say that it's important that Hillsong and other artists are trying new styles in their music. Sure, people complain that their styles as of late have been copying a lot of the popular/main-stream genres, but I say nay to such critiques - this style of music allowed me to talk to my friend about Jesus... so it's doing its job.

My father left for the cold war in 1986. While he was in Germany he got stabbed in the back of the head, and ended up in a coma. There was a microchip implanted behind his left ear when he was in the coma. This has ruined his life and greatly impacted mine as his son. I am native romanian speaker, but i learned english language from a young age, in my opinion this whole thing with cussing has nothing to do with cussing at all. They use "Hurts like hell" like a a figure of speech not a cuss. Hell is a word, not a cuss, that appears in Bible so many many times. It supposed to say that living on this earth and going through all the daily struggles with everything that happens around us, this earth is full of sin and mud, and it does hurt like hell. yeah i feel ya my dad died about a year ago i watched him die from stage 4 cancer im upset at god too idk why he let it happen to me and u but hey we know where they are and i know that for me someday i will see him again and it will be awesome thats how i cope with it, my heart is hurts so bad because he was really one of the only ppl who understood me but i feel joy knowing where he is and that one day i will see him, i hope u feel and have that hope too god bless

Yeah I used to think the smell thing about my long term bf but God told me He has someone way better and that he is definitely NOT the right guy for me from what he has planned and so I did it but chased after him and I knew exactly what God meant when his true colors bled out. I was bound in sin about 20 years I'm 37 now. I use to think God was too good yo be true and even more so for Him to help me in my life. I wasn't really raised in church So my mind was all messed up and got so much worse through the years. I fought against God to the point Satan was became confronting me at night and I knew I had to fight for my life. Since then I've boldly pursued God citing off anything possible that could get in the way of my walk with Him and I must say Jesus has stepped in and is changing my life. This hasn't been that long ago but I must say I'm free in the name of Jesus I've never been stronger and more at peace and joy. I stay in prayer and in the Word. This is a war and if you don't have a warrior mindset you won't win. You can't afford to lose because the glory God has in store for us is worth every tear and battle we face beyond measure. I have eternity in my heart now and I'm never going back in the name of Jesus, amen!!!

I have severe depression since I got into junior high. Everyday is just like fear in my mind. I eve got suicidal mind and attempt for 8 years. My family don't know my condition,they depend on me. I have no friend because I always keep closing myself from them. I had several nasty break up afterwards. I even considering to be give up on Him and being a non-Theist. I'm happy to say that my first teen acts retreat from 2016 has renewed my faith and brought me close to my God.
