I had finished my Incredibly Hard Direct Entry Captain Ground and Line Training , Boeing B 777 at Qatar Airways ...it had been five exhausting months. At the end of my Final Line Check , I returned to my hotel room, tired but elated...everything went perfectly ! My First Officer was an Ex RAF Gentleman. In front of the Check Airman , I deeply thanked him. Flight Lieutenant , Fighter Pilot .( Ret .) Air Force of Chile

The RAF pulled some unbelievable attacks on Germany during WWII none of which was more fantastic than the Ruhr River Dam being taken out by RAF Lancaster Bombers.

Are there lyrics to the Evening Hymn? This tune combined with the First Post always gets to me.
@pidxxx2 жыл бұрын
The day you gave us, Lord, is ended, the darkness falls at your request; to you our morning hymns ascended, your praise shall sanctify our rest. 2 We thank you that your Church, unsleeping while earth rolls onward into light, through all the world her watch is keeping and never rests by day or night. 3 As over continent and island each dawn leads to another day, the voice of prayer is never silent, nor do the praises die away. 4 So be it, Lord! Your throne shall never, like earth’s proud empires, pass away; your kingdom stands and grows forever until there dawns your glorious day.
