The last edition of Evening Magazine on KPIX in San Francisco hosted in the field by Jan Yanehiro and Richard Hart. Evening Magazine in SF was the first locally produced magazine format program produced entirely outside of the studio with portable ENG equipment. Now, any kid with a mobile phone can do it!

wow great to see. I was there from the start - for the first five years. I think Jan and I were the last standing from the original show when I left to start my own company in 1981, Loved the times and people - great great memories from our pioneering work.

Burt Arnowitz Hi Burt! I came on board when Steve Fox left the show, so I think we had a brief crossover. I'd been around the old Victorian cutting editorials and Public Affairs programming before that. Prior to that, while at SFSU, I recall seeing the Concord Blue Devils piece with its quick cutting. That was yours wasn't it?
