I’m predicting either Austria, Korea, Albania or 1 of the 7 teams from England to win. Germany won’t make the semis this year unfortunately, but it was great to finally see Thorston in an event OUTSIDE the bloody World Championships! Never thought that pairing would happen 👍

My favorite part of these highlights is seeing Vilmos Foldes at the table. I played him once, he beat me 8-0 and I had like 3 trips to the table the whole time. Awesome, awesome player, and such a nice and humble guy. It makes me so happy to see him playing on the world stage again.

Efren reyes did not yet received his visa as UK revoked express visa..carlo biado tried to find replacement for efren reyes but all of the philippine pool players have to compete with other tournament or some players have no visa

Whoever the young sounding announcer is…he is just awful. Karl is the best commentator in pool for sure. Pleasant voice and good sense of humor, but also understands the game on a professional level.

I like Rollie but he has his place in pool…KZbin, not the commentators’ box at the World Cup of Pool. 🙄 How the heck did THAT happen?! 🤔 Am I the only one who gets the impression that Karl and Jeremy don’t care for his presence in the box or his “commentary” contributions? 🤨 Maybe it’s just me. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Really dissapointed with Czech boys. Hungary played like shit, especially Szolnoki (for what his usual level is). I sincerely hope Urban doesn’t win another Czech 9ball championship for as long as he lives, he might be dominant in the home scene but always completely fucks it on big stage.
