Just recently developed much respect for Niels after watching some of his great training videos for first time! He seems to be a real helpful down to earth person.

That's about as pure as a human being can play 9-ball. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving, all-around great guy. Love his training videos.

I feel like I'm a fan of Neils because of his training videos, you start to feel like you know who he is. So I'm very happy to see such a great win over a formidable opponent.

One of the most professional, exciting, pleasant championship games I've seen so far! The precision pool Niels played was so satisfying to watch! I'm happy for his epic win, especially after coming back from an injury and recovery to his cue arm. Both champion players!

I love Niels, he's a great player and has always conducted himself in a great manner it's hard not to root for him and I'm American and congrats to SVB for being a great sportsman. I can't imagine if this had been Earl Strickland losing lol blaming everything and everyone for the loss

Man, you can't play much better than Niels did through almost all of this final. It seemed like he was ball in hand accurate for rack after rack after rack, pretty much perfect pool. Shane couldn't seem to do anything right. Rare. I guess it allows somebody else to win occasionally. :-P Kidding, but he is the best overall, MHO. "National color of Holland" Brilliant, and a bit brutal.

Imagine being down 7-4 and you gift your opponent a 1-9 combo to win the title. I would have died lol . Tough tough luck for Shane but Niels played extremely well.

Who has had one of those matches like Svb did here? No matter what you do your opponent ends up with an easy shoot. Neils played well but the balls broke and rolled for him.

Shane Van Boening may have lost but he's still a winner in my heart, mainly because he inspired me to become a billiard player once I turn 21 next year! It's finally worth it after 16 years of liking billiards, starting at age 4 in 2005... 😇

Your kids is not considered as a leader of a national team lol just think about what a parent would think when they hear people talk about their kids like this. You should be ashamed for making comments like this. It’s a good thing his colleague realized to stop him immediately. Some of the European commentators are the reason why I like matches without commentating so much better. Oh well, at least COVID make them stay home 🤣
