This is going to be weirdly personal, but I want to share. I’ve been passionate about skin care since I was a young teen, and I’m even studying biology and skin care in college to make a career out of it and help others on their skin care journey. However, I’ve been lacking in my own routine for the past year from depression. Recently, I bought some new products that completely sucked me back in to taking care of myself. Rather than just studying the science behind skin care, I’m applying it once again. I’ve been watching your videos for a while, and I started up again to help me get excited about my routine once more. Thank you so much Renee. ☺️

Thank you for sharing love. When we fall into that hole, the last thing we will do is actually take care of ourselves, or treat ourselves. It doesn’t feel deserved. So proud of you for getting back into your routines even when you don’t feel it. It’s all a ritual of loving and taking care of yourself and you DO deserve it. 💕

I recently acquired a bottle of the classic cleansing oil by Erno Lazlo--this $58 product was THREE dollars on clearance at Marshall's so I went for it. It's extremely nice. Goes on almost black (!) but sheers out as you use it. Very gentle, no irritation. A light, very old school kind of fragrance, NOT overwhelming or heavy at all. Lazlo was the favorite brand of many vintage movie stars and I can see why. This has become my favorite cleansing oil. My skin is dry and sensitive also, and it leaves me feeling actually hydrated and gently cleansed.

You've probably already experimented with this at some point, but I've gotta say- the CosRX snail products were what helped me finally get to regular tretinoin usage, especially the AIO cream. If you ever have irritation popup from the tret when winter gets more brutal, try adding it into the mix!

I used the Bader cream for a full month while traveling. I had limited luggage space, and I was in one spot no more than 3 days. The directions actually say to NOT use anything else with it - no serums, no acids, no retinoids, etc. It eliminated my normal multi-step skin care routine. acids, no retinoids, etc. I found it to be OK - no negative reaction - but not a life changer. As a moisturizer only, it's a fairly ridiculous price to pay.

@gothamista5 жыл бұрын
It seems to me that they’re just making sure the savings aren’t limited to one day and rushed impulsive decisions. So they’ve started the savings early and extended it. They’re not boycotting the concept, rather just having an ‘abnormal’ and gentler approach to it. That’s how I read it. 😊
