@ybab321 Methods of fixing it: Create alternate even chains to supplement the gameplay and story in case someone gets something early, create sprites for certain items without others (like Plasma without Wide), etc.

no, the stalker enemy SA-X has different programming than the boss SA-X, it uses the same assets but it's not the same entity as far as the game is concerned.

hmmm, so practically the event resets, and because you did so, the game didn´t registered that you actually defeated the plant (I forgot it´s name) Even though It sounds like an awesome hack, this makes it a little hard to do

no you need plasma.

well i think as far as sprite coding goes the only function your beam needs to damage it is the ability to pass through the enemy. and yes a charge. so i think all you would need to damage it would be charge and plasma.

obviously you cant sequence break those beams like that but i've seen some hacks of odd stuff like wide beam without the charge beam. im pretty sure that the computer even says at some point that you need the plasma beam to fight the sa-x.
