I really like the neg ebells when they have the really loud volume, compared to when they are really quiet, the sound a bit different. And up rarely has them on the loud volume

Many signal maintainers don’t even know about the volume adjustment feature of crossing bells. Most of the time they are left the way they came from the factory which is why they are usually so quiet.
