YES! Really best possible demo of a pedal use and sounds. This is really good chorus pedal and much more with all possible adjustments without "legendary" analog noise. After over 40yrs i still a fan on Eventide quality an sounds. But now i must go shopping...HND

Thanks so much. Your two videos really helped me get a handle on this pedal. The manual on the website left a lot of unanswered questions. These two videos answered those for me. I've been successful with creating a patch and saving it using the software. Really appreciate the help.

Thanks so much for this, and especially for pointing out that the LEDs above the footswitches are themselves buttons. I had been baffled about how to save presets - now I get it. I wish the pedal - an incredible beast of a powerhouse, to be sure - came with transcripts of the 2 tutorial videos. lol. The good news is that its easy to grab a youtube transcript, which I did, and am now deleting all the time code and turning the text into a finely edited printed guide to making the most out of the Tricera's deeply dynamic range of controls. The 2 videos clear up so much. Thank you!

Best possible demo of a pedal. Same as for micropitch delay, which I purchased straight away. Thks Joe!

Bravissimo Joe, as usual your demos are always clear, complete and exhaustive. The best videos to fully appreciate all the features of pedals and algorithms. There are always new things to learn by listening to your explanations.

I purchased one of these to replace my Source Audio Gemini chorus, as I mentioned in my comments on the second video in this series. The support for how to create sounds was basically zero, so these videos are sincerely appreciated. This is what a professional organization should be making available for their users. My only complaint is that this isn't available as a hardcopy manual. I'd gladly pay a bit extra for a manual that could either be purchased, or purchased then printed out. There's a lot of great information in these videos, but it's hard to recall. I'm having to re-watch them and make notes each time. But thank you for what you have provided, it is greatly appreciated.

I appreciate both of these videos. One suggestion - use the second position on the strat to really bring out the chorus sound. Put some compression on it to really accentuate the chorus effect.

I ended up buying this and the Micropitch and I'm starting to think I may not need both. Any ideas or suggestions as to how I can utilize both pedals together or should I just get rid of one of them if they basically do the same thing? Love the video!!
@EventideAudio Жыл бұрын
It really depends on what you're after. Micropitch shifting and chorus can sound similar, but definitely not that same. The MicroPitch pedal is as much a dual delay as it is subtle pitch shifter, so I would focus on using it in that context. MicroPitch can also be used for more ambient sounds as you hear in some of the onboard presets and presets on the Eventide Device Manager.

@@EventideAudio Is there anything similar for an 80s sound for a mono rig? I'm feeling I'm not able to fully utilize this pedal in mono.
@EventideAudio Жыл бұрын
@@brandonhamilton370 We recommend connecting to the Eventide Device Manager (EDM) software and browsing through the presets

Can swirl mix and rate be saved seperately in one preset? For example having a nice chorus going and then to get a fake Leslie sound you engage swirl which adds rate and a more vibrato-y sound?
@EventideAudio Жыл бұрын
Swirl is a function available with every preset and is dependent on the Rate and Mix settings of the current preset. Put another way, the same Mix and Rate settings take effect on both the un-swirled and swirled version of the preset.
@RileyStockwellMusic Жыл бұрын
@@EventideAudio thank you! So if I’m correct there is no way to edit the mix and rate of the swirl separate from the chorus within one preset?
@EventideAudio Жыл бұрын
@@RileyStockwellMusic That is correct. However, there are two ways around this. We can assigning Rate to an expression pedal or aux switch so that it can be controlled externally, or instead of engaging Swirl you can create a preset with Swirl already activated and with a different Rate and go between the two presets.

Joe I put this in my loop on my Soldano SLO 100 and it blew my fuse, is it suppose to go in the front of the amp?
@EventideAudioАй бұрын
@@502tony1 The pedal can be placed in front or in the loop depending on what sounds best to you. What you may need to pay attention to is the operating level. When using it in front, you should set it to guitar level. When using it in the loop, I recommend setting it to line level, but it all depends on how hot your effects loop runs.

Hi, for the best reproduction of the old ce1 boss chorus….. does this pedal work? Or better the modfactor pedal?
@EventideAudio2 жыл бұрын
The TriceraChorus is the better option, as it has a dedicated bucket brigade chorus section and presets called CEO and CFO that do a wonderful job of emulating that sound.

Does this thing play well with 1 Spot Pro CS7?
@augustusbetucius8279 Жыл бұрын
I would never put any pedal I really value on a One Spot. Especially one with a high price tag such as this one. Even more especially one that is *digital*. If you're paying for pedals of this price, spring for a Voodoo Labs power supply. You'll be glad you did. Trust me.

Don't go fucking your shit up, dude. If you're gonna drop big coin on a pedal then buy a proper damn power supply

What about running it mono?
@EventideAudio11 ай бұрын
Simply set the switch on the rear panel to mono and connect from Out 1 only. We recommend the “Making connections” section of the Part 2 video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGi8iml5rLN7obc&si=pEhBCFdRLOXfsW-E
