I've gone all electric on my yard maintenance, Mower, trimmer, edger. Always have a freshly charged battery ready to go. Go EGO! Only wish my neighbors were so thoughtful!

Brian, I have a 42" electric cub cadet lawn tractor mower. I love the smell of ONLY the cut grass, now!. It used to be camouflaged by a 22hp john deere gasoline engine blowing in my face while I mowed. The fresh air is even more important to me than the noise. It is less too.... though

Gas yard tools make no sense at all. I don't ever want to have to prime the carb, set the choke, yank on the stupid cord several times, then listen to the racket. Also, if I run out of gas, I have to get in my car and go to the gas station. If my last battery runs down, I put it on the charger and enjoy a beer while it charges.

I own a lawn care company. I'm waiting for EV. So far i use only EV trimmers. We'd like to go all EV, but that's all so far. Toro EV mowers are a joke really. They made no serious attempt at a quality mower. The EV mowers are better at cutting, quieter, but too expensive and just a gas mower platform with EV attached. Maybe when they go from the ground up it will work for us. I'm certainly watching and waiting.
