Thx for the in depth review on a price point product and thx for not just bashing it cuz its cheap. This boot would not work for me, but that adds validity to the channel and THAT i can appreciate. Not gonna lie though, after a month long hiatus, you retutned with this- aaahh ya cant win em all

I know you are "hard work" oriented so I understand your conclusion. Now for me those boots seem to be nice as a casual "Redwing look-a-like" daily wear boots. I am especially interested by what seems to be the more than descent quality construction. Most of the time with cheap "Redwing look-a-like" the Goodyear welt is just fake. So I will maybe get those and see if they last more than one fall/winter season. Thanks for the review.

Could you review the chinook wedge? I can’t find any info on it after purchasing it. Also you should reconsider the DieHard, the sure track hard material is quite impressive!

Recently purchased a pair of cheap brown moc toe wedge boots from Academy and decided wedge soles are now my go-to. So i ordered a pair of black moc toes from Ever. We'll see if these cheap boots hold up like the academy boots!

Great honest review man. I’ve been in the market for a motorcycle boot but they are crazy expensive. What would your thoughts be on using this boot for that purpose? Obviously most motorcycle boots have an overlay on the top of the toebox to protect from the shifter. That would be one of my greater concerns regarding durability overtime. Traction of course would be my other primary consideration

The United States and Mexico typically use cow and steer for leather products, most Asian countries typically use water Buffalo for their leather products which is Not as tough as steer or cow.

I have the irish setter ashby. Decent leather, fairly comfortable, looks good after oiling. The laces suck. And the deal breaker for me was the tongue is not gusseted at all, so anything that lands on the top of your foot invariably ends up inside your shoe. I live in socal and i liked the sole a lot it got good traction out here and is heat resistant to over 400 so it seemed pretty long wearing. I used mine at work for about 6 mo but got fed up with shit in my shoe, so they are now casual usage and get worn most days. Ive had em for just over 2 years and they are still holdin up.

You get what you pay for... I'm done buying cheap boots... They don't last so I end up spending about the same amount of money in the end if I had just bought a good American made boot... I've had my Thorogood 4600's for about 2 years now and love them...

Many unions kick you off the jobsite for having a cut or tear in any part of the boot... Its hard for me to justify more 150 bucks for any boot because on any given day i can cut my leather cutting i beams rebar formwork etc

Those boots are made to really soft leather and the stitches will rip straight through them.
