Great video. I crossed the Chola La the other way back in 1986 and remember how steep the descent was into Gokyo so I know how hard it must be to climb the other way. We set off late from Louche so ended up bivouacking above Dzongla. Good to see there is still snow at the top but quite a bit less than in 86. We were a bit later than you then - we crossed about 2nd December

Why did you go to another point (Gokyo), then EBC?

In Nov. 2022, we trekked to EBC via Tyangboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorak Shep route. Gokyo seems tougher but very beautiful. If I go again, I might go Gokyo way thanks to your video. Well edited. Did you do it yourself? I am 62 and not a techie. Looking to see how I can make a video like this. Thank you.

Exactly the same dates, I booked my Flights on exactly the same dates for 2023 😄😄 I was looking for weather conditions for those dates before I bought tickets but unfortunately, I have just found your video right now 😊😊 OK let me watch all the video and ask some questions about it with your kindly permissions. 1) Is it the most crowded season for EBC trip and is there any chance to couldn't find any room at Gorakshep? 7:38 even in Namche Bazar ? why not your guide took you kala pathar, from there very nice view of MT. EVEREST , from that peak you could get helicopter. , always guide take trekkers from gorekshep to EBC and almost same distance for kala pathat....
