@@lennartjuhh It is a google street view, so they can move around like you typically would on street view, which would allow them to see more of the area to figure out where they are, which they didn't do, it being on mobile isn't inherently different, other than it is a smaller screen.

Kinda depends. Most people hire a team of sherpas to carry all their gear and hold their hand/ keep them alive through the whole process. That doesn’t mean _everybody_ does it that way. There are plenty of real mountaineers out there.

Any nepali would atleast know 2 language😂. For most of nepalese, it would be their mother tongue and nepali language then hindi and English😂. Other who is in other countries for work like South Korea, Japan, European countries,etc place with their own language would know more than 4 language easy😂. I'm 100% sure all Nepal knows atleast 2 different languages. To majority it's their mother tongue based on their ethinicity as 1st language and then Nepal's main language which is nepali language😂. Being multilingual is literally one of least impressive thing in Nepal😂.

Really recommend the documentary on "Project Possible," for more sherpa world records, its abt a group of sherpas setting the WR for climbing the 14 highest peaks in 7 months (before then, the record was 8 years).

This is an awesome video to me for two reasons. The obvious being that they absolutely owned the game, but also because I've been to Gokyo when I was a kid. Family used to live in Nepal from 1998-2001, and one of the things we did was fly to "the most dangerous airport in the world" and trek up to Gokyo. We were hit with altitude sickness, so only my mom did Gokyo Ri, but we all got to hike through the plateau and see glaciers. Awesome memories, and this video brought it all back. Thank you!
