The KZbin channel I like most for backpack reviews. Danny did a fantastic job of making the bags look as though I were in the store.

I have used this bag for 5 months now, and I have tried many bag packs but the CTB20 is the best I have ever had for work, I love everything about it! If you are on the edge, buy it, it's truly perfect.

If only they'd have a restock quicker! I'm using the CPL16 for work and it's limited, for my use case.

Same! The CTB20 is my favourite bag I’ve owned. I love the 420d nylon. It’s soft yet durable.

Hey Danny, love your channel! I used a Bellroy venture ready pack for years as my Travel bag and EDC/work bag and it was great, but just a bit big for EDC. I just got the CTB20 and have done a weekend trip, and it was great, and perfect EDC size. CTB20 is one of the best bags I’ve ever had.

Hey Danny, great video once again. Besides the CAP0.5, have you found any good organization for either of the QAPs (that has some pockets)? Also, the profile pics with the bags were excellent (might be good to get another light to knock down those shadows). Keep up the great work!

For the back digging try removing the frame sheet and replacing it with the same foam that's in the MPL22 - just need to cut it to size. I did that on my CPL24 and it's eliminated the hard edge that you can feel on your lower back.
@PotatoSpudRucking2 ай бұрын
might as well buy a mpl22 and save the hassle 😅

The CTB format is the best format for a backpack for EDC and minimal travel. (I say this tongue in cheek because everyone's packing style and needs are different.) What convinced me to become an Evergoods fanboy was the yoke "quick access pocket." I have the PLC20 and the CPL16. Both have drawbacks to the pocketing that simply doesn't work for my carry. For example, the CPL16 cannot carry the CAP2L and properly close; this was a game killer for me. The PLC20 could, but the issue with the yoke pocket covering the laptop sleeve was increasingly annoying. I only use the PLC20 for excursions where I'm not taking any tech (besides my cellphone) with me. Why don't you do a video comparing the CPL16, PLC20 and the CTB20? You would do an awesome job comparing packing formats, styles and philosophies. "Choosing the right pack for your packing style.

Can you expand a bit on how the CPL16 can't fit a cap 2? I've preordered one from Mukama and am now reconsidering...

How does this compare to the AbleCarry Max EDC? Preference?
@dannypacks2 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching! I find the max edc more comfortable but overall I prefer the ctb layout

I actually bought the CTB20 on pre-order and I exchanged it for the CPL 16. For me the material was just too soft and when I had it packed out and it made a weird crease in the front which bothered me. My OCD kicked in.... The CPL 16 for a daily work bag in my opinion is the best bag out there it's just such a perfect package to hold everything especially if you pair it with those CAPs

For anyone wondering. I fit my 16” 16:10 aspect ratio Z Book in my CTB20. It’s a snug fit but I don’t have any trouble putting it in or taking it out.

Great bag for sure, but as you also pointed out, I don’t get why nearly all their backpacks are so short but have rather much depth which leads to more weight pulling away from the back. It also looks odd if you’re a bigger guy. That’s what I love about Able Carry packs: Even the Daily Plus still has 49cm in height. 👌

This is the ONLY backpack from a name brand that I know of which actually passes a personal item bag in Europe, Asia, Australia and NZ. Any other bag from any other brand (incl. Evergoods) is not accepted as a personal item regardless how small they go as their height is always min 18 inches which is way too tall. This one is only 1 cm tall so it should be ok.
@HowToDripАй бұрын
3.2 lbs! Why do these bag companies make their bags so beefy? I wish they’d focus on a lighter weight.
@TLhike19 күн бұрын
Want it!. Very important now that airlines are changing their standards for 2025 more fees yay plus more rules consistency across carriers. Theyre now going to weigh your personal item & carryon together 🤯. Thx DP

Thank you for watching and I agree bags like this will be nice to have for all the changes that are coming, very unfortunate that airlines go out of their way to make travel tougher for people
