Agree on both your cons. That passthrough is just weird for me. I dislike it, even. And yeah, it would be nice if they sized those slip pockets for this decade. I'll throw in a freebie: I dislike it when manufacturers expect us to put our keys in the same pocket as our phone. If you're gonna add a key leash, put it somewhere else. I believe Evergoods fixed that with there CAS2.

No idea what you edit with, but the free version of DaVinci Resolve has some amazing audio tools that are 1 click and can make this sound studio quality. Just an FYI for the next time!

The passthrough is "for an outer layer", for those days when one uses tons of layers

I have the normal nylon one…. I really like the way the strap clicks on myself. It allows for ambidextrous slinging, which is important to me as I usually go right shoulder. I personally thought the organization could also use an update as well, but the pass through I use when I have a light jacket and it’s too warm to wear. OR…when it’s too cold I’d go hip pack mode and slip my hands in there for some warmth… I think it’s one of those YMMV kind of features. I also keep my phone in the main pocket so I don’t mind the key leash… then again, I have a Pixel 6 Pro which is not small.

I have a nylon one now too - and I like it better than the griffin. I still can’t fall in love with that pass through! I love hearing your experience with this one - thanks for sharing your perspective.

The curved zipper track on the back pocket is for when you are wearing it on your waist. the belt wings will curve and concave the back panel making the zip track perfectly straight. Try it. -Guy 🤙🏻

Passthrough is for a lightweight rain jacket or outer layer. Since its release from the original one, that was its intention and Evergoods has been said that. It's a perfect addition to it and I have used it so many times with a rain jacket and it being clutch while hiking or traveling for me. I can add more about the zipper as well, but I feel it weird to explain this time around. Really like your videos, but it seems like you didn't know what you bought or its features this time around, lol. Keep up the good work though.

Thanks! I’m aware of what it’s for - and also listened to the team from Evergoods explain it - but still am a little “meh” on the real world actual usefulness of such a prominent feature. But to your point - I haven’t used the bag for months like others have - Really appreciate your input and support.

I currntly use an iphone se for work and a pixel 6a for myself, luckily they mnahe to get in , I agree an extra inch would be future proof

Klint first off Happy Thanksgiving. Hope all is going well. I got a specific question for you. How would you say the volume here compares to the vanquest dendrite large? Comparable or larger? Specs say that dendrite is larger in volume but doesn’t look like it from the eye test. As always thanks for all you do.

Hate these carryology colabs so difficult to buy, long shipping times & not to mention obscenely expensive. Heck even trakke ships in 2 days from other side of the world & they can't even manage that.
