Lift / scratching arc is for walking the cup, if you learn how to walk the cup with the continued current (no pulse), it will turn out way more consistent and overall a better looking weld

The lift arc is harsh man! Having to change to tungsten out after the weld is done with, still runs great though 👍🏽

scratch start is a little easier on the tungsten; but high frequency starts are the best

I will say this I bought this little welder a week ago and there is something about the Arc and bead appearance on stick that I have never seen on Machines costing 10 times more. Haven't tig with it yet so no comment on that yet
