I can hardly see the screen, I am welling up so much. This is truly a sad day for music. The Everlys came from an era when three minutes was all that was needed to get the message across. And they sure got the messages across, in the most melodious, refined and direct way. When their two heads came together behind the microphone, something very special happened. Their music always touched my heart. Rock solid musicians, from a rock solid musical background. Gutted. Totally gutted. RIP Phil, and thank you so very much.

Great , great comment. All one has to do is really listen to the music, and reflect on how important it was to us as we grew through those early years.
